Minecraft Earth是一款免費增強現實（AR）手遊，由Mojang Studios開發，由Xbox Game Studios在iOS和Android發行。在本遊戲中，玩家需要在現實世界中穿梭並收集各類材料，建造各種結構。Minecraft Earth於2019年7月16日起開始內測，然後在接下來的數個月中逐步擴大開放區域，並於同年12月11日實現全球開放（部分區域除外）。由於COVID-19疫情影響，玩家的戶外活動遭受嚴重限制，受此影響，Minecraft Earth於2021年1月5日發佈最終更新0.33.0，後於同年6月30日正式停止運營。[1]

Minecraft Earth不是現有遊戲的移植，而是Minecraft基岩版和Java版的改編。[7]該遊戲建立在基岩引擎上。該版本的Minecraft具有許多獨特的與Minecraft本體類似的遊玩方式和互動行為。[7]
遊玩Minecraft Earth需要一個Xbox Live帳號。[8]
該遊戲使用Azure的全新Azure Spatial Anchors和Open Maps技術來最佳化遊戲體驗。這有助於根據一定的玩家建築位置來確定特定物體的位置。[7][9]

在Minecraft Earth中，玩家們可以共同建造建築結構並「將它們以與真實尺寸1：1的大小放置在現實世界中」。[11]
在地圖裏，玩家可以看見自己的角色，角色的外觀可以在市場那裏更換。地圖上散佈著許多可點擊物。如果可點擊物在玩家的收集範圍內，玩家可以點擊該物品並把它撿起來。可點擊物有很多種，其中包括石頭、草、儲物箱和生物。
冒險也會出現在地圖上。冒險是Minecraft Earth的生存模式。玩家和生物戰鬥並拾取獎勵。

遊戲具有完整的微型交易系統。遊戲中的貨幣為紅寶石，以防止與"Minecoin"混淆。[7]

2021年1月5日，受COVID-19疫情影響，Minecraft Earth的最終版本0.33.0發佈，同時官方宣佈其伺服器將於2021年6月30日關閉。此後iOS App Store和Google Play商店均已下架該遊戲，玩家也無法再次進入遊戲。曾在遊戲中進行過充值消費的玩家會免費獲得一份基岩版。[1]
