羊毛(Wool) 是一個可從羊身上取得的方塊,它可以被染成16種不同的顏色。羊毛方塊非常脆弱,易燃,而且擁有很弱的爆炸抗性。羊毛是透過拿着鉸剪對着羊右鍵點擊來獲得2-4個羊毛。將羊殺死也可獲得1塊羊毛。白,淺灰,灰,黑,粉,和啡色的羊毛可以在相應的羊身上自然地找到。在beta 1.7 之前,羊毛可以透過不用任何工具攻擊羊而獲得。
用途
羊毛是牀和畫的關鍵組成部分,而且它也很適合用於建造碼頭,因為它能夠停止並吸收一些和船的碰撞,其效果有點像靈魂砂。
給羊染色(持有染料時右鍵點擊羊)是獲得有色羊毛高度推薦的方法。當2-4塊羊毛從羊身上剪下來時,相對於殺死有色羊或製作有色羊毛,有着更大的收益。對非白色的羊(淺灰,灰,黑,粉,和啡色的羊)染色和染白色的羊是一樣的,玩家並不需要先用骨粉將羊漂白,再用染料將羊重新着色。
野生的狼可以透過尋找隨意跌落在地上的羊毛來找到(特別是在森林裏),這是因為野狼會在巡迴時將羊殺死。
合成
羊毛可以在需要的時候透過線製作而來。但是殺死蜘蛛要比殺死羊要難多了,所以會有些浪費資源。(除非你是透過在廢棄的礦坑裡的蜘蛛網來獲得大量的線)
