防止窒息(Suffocation prevention),通稱爬行(Crawling),是一種允許玩家在低於1.5格高的空間裏移動的特性。[1]
啟動
防止窒息可透過任何導致玩家頭部與可碰撞的方塊結合,且方塊下方僅有低於1.5格的空隙的途徑啟動。例如:
- 關閉玩家上方的地板門
- 使用活塞將一個方塊推進玩家的頭部
- 使用終界珍珠將玩家傳送到足夠小的空隙裡

在上述情況中,玩家會自動進入防止窒息的狀態中。When enough space opens up above the player's head, the player will automatically exit this state and begin sneaking or standing again. When crawling, the player travels slower than normal.
