A woodland mansion is a very rare structure found only in the Roofed Forest biome. It is the only place where the Vindicator, Evoker (and by association, Vex) mobs naturally spawn.
Generation
Woodland mansions generate very rarely in roofed forest biomes, often appearing tens of thousands of blocks away from the origin. They can be located with woodland explorer maps, which are bought from cartographer villagers with emeralds.
Structure
Because it is generated randomly, the exact structure of a mansion varies. All woodland mansions have these in common: they typically have 2-3 floors, with a wide variety of different rooms, and generate a cobblestone foundation underneath the entire structure (much as a village house does). The top floor is always a bit smaller than the floor or floors below. A large foyer and a winding maze of corridors are also present in all mansions.
Rooms
There are many different types of rooms in a woodland mansion. Not all rooms are readily accessible - some have sealed entrances, others have no entrances at all. Not every type of room may exist in a single woodland mansion, as the interior is randomly generated.
One may access the individual structures of a woodland mansion by utilizing structure blocks to manually load room structures from the structures folder in minecraft.jar. To do so, set a structure block to Load mode, enter "Mansion/StructureName", and press LOAD. A list of possible rooms, the names of these structures, and small descriptions are provided in the table below:

Flint is a mineral obtained from gravel.
Obtaining
Mining
When a block of gravel is mined, there is a 10% chance for a single piece of flint to drop instead of the gravel block. When mined with a Fortune-enchanted tool, this chance increases to 16% at Fortune I, 25% at Fortune II, and 100% at Fortune III. Gravel mined using a tool with Silk Touch or gravel that fell on a non-solid block never produces flint.
Trading
Novice-level fletcher villagers have a 50%bedrock or 2java chance to offer 10 pieces of flint for 10 blocks of gravel and an emerald.

Journeyman-level toolsmith villagers have a 2 chance to buy 30 flint for one emerald in Java Edition, and always offer the trade in Bedrock Edition.

A tool is an item used by the player while held to perform actions faster and more efficiently, to gather materials not obtainable by hand, to gain information, or to perform completely new actions. With the exception of the clock, compass, empty bucket, and lead, tools do not stack in the inventory. Tools can be repaired; see Item repair.
Obtaining
Best tools
Many blocks have a preferred tool to break them. Some blocks can be broken only with certain tools. The tool's material also affects how fast a block is mined. Materials from worst to best in terms of mining speed are wooden, stone, iron, diamond, netherite, gold.
Item durability
Durability
Different tools have different amounts of durability. Some uses require more durability to be used than others. A tool's durability is also affected by its material. Materials from worst to best in terms of durability are gold, wooden, stone, iron, diamond, netherite.
Some tools are not block-breaking tools: This includes bows, fishing rods, carrots on sticks, flint & steel, and buckets. Such tools are no better than bare fists at breaking blocks, but they do not take damage from doing so—they take damage from being used in their own intended manners.
Item enchantability
Materials from worst to best in terms of enchantability are stone, diamond, iron, wooden/netherite, gold.
Smelting
Smelting
Iron or golden tools can be smelted into nuggets.

; Fuel
* Wooden tools can be used as a fuel in furnaces, smelting 1 item per tool.
* A fishing rod can be used as fuel in furnaces, smelting 1.5/1 items per fishing rod.

Trivia
* Gold tools are actually ranked as superior to diamond tools on the Legacy Console Edition's crafting screen.
* Wooden tools can be burned in a furnace regardless of its durability; this means the player can burn a wooden tool that has only 1 use left.
