Plains Village Vibrant

The plains village with Vibrant Visuals enabled.

The Vibrant Visuals is a graphics mode added in Chase the Skies. It adds water shaders, specular highlights, emissive textures, and directional lighting and shadows. It was revealed on Minecraft Live - March 2025.[1]

While Vibrant Visuals is currently exclusive to some Bedrock Edition devices, it is planned to be added in Java Edition in the coming months.

Availability[]

Currently, Vibrant Visuals only supports on high-end devices. Mojang Studios also promised to optimize Vibrant Visuals so it could run on low-end devices.[citation needed]

Vibrant Visuals is not currently supported on ChromeOS, Amazon Fire, Nintendo Switch, or Nintendo Switch 2.

History[]

March 22, 2025Vibrant Visuals are announced at Minecraft Live - March 2025.
It is planned to be added in both Java and Bedrock Editions.[note 3]
