Spanish wiki with problems? Yes again :D
Wynthyst Hello, sorry for the inconvenience, but Ultradude25 told me to contact you with someone of curse to help me. We have a problem in our wiki: The search box never updates, I mean that it's different to this wiki. We tried to solve the problem but we couldn't, so we decided to ask your help. Please help us! And sorry for my bad English level, I'm still learning. And, as say Kingpowl down, Happy new year :D ReyWar 16:20, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
Happy New Year!
Have a very nice year, Wyn :D

server error
The server error on the Chinese wiki is getting a little bit ridiculous, there is about 1 page per day that would display the server error "The database could not found the page." and I have to delete and recover the page. Please help us fix the issue. Also, a minor request, could the mediawiki setting $wgStringFunctionsLimitSearch and $wgStringFunctionsLimitReplace be set a little bit higher, because it limits the #replace function not able to replace the string "splash potion of fire resistance" and replacing characters would cause the default 30 multibyte characters to be used up very quickly, so it would nice for the #replace function to do more on the Chinese wiki.—Powup333 ZH Admin 00:20, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
- In the Spanish Wiki have an error exactly like yours "The database could not found the page.", and the truth is that it is quite annoying. Surely there are other wikis with the same problem. ReyWar 09:22, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Content license
At the bottom of most pages are two notices about under what license the content of the wiki is available: a text link on the left, and an image on the right. The image on the right leads to a Creative Commons license, which (among other things) contains "You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor..." The text on the left simply leads to the wiki's main page which doesn't seem to explain the notations used in the link or have any further information.
- Is there a page on the wiki which explains how those who copy content should attribute it? (possibly mentioning that some content on the site is copyright by Mojang AB used under fair use and thus might not be legal to be copied for use which is not fair use?)
- Can the text link be made more useful? (or something else?)

- Thank you for pointing it out. Minecraft Wiki:Copyrights -- Wynthyst

- Munin was also pointing out that the CC license used in MediaWiki:Copyright is currently linked to Minecraft Wiki; I think $wgRightsPage needs to be updated to point to Minecraft Wiki:Copyrights. -- Orthotope 10:11, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- I know that, but since, as you know that is done in the core php config, I can't personally do anything about it, other than request it be corrected by our php team, which I have, and it will be as soon as it comes up on their job queue. As a relatively low priority request, it will be bumped lower in the queue by anything more important. Basically, it will happen when it happens...... -- Wynthyst

Wiki copying pages, templates and images
This wiki is quite clearly copying content from us, and I don't see any kind of attribution. –ultradude25 ᐸ Talk
