Hey there... In re: BlockCSS.png - how exactly did I remove minecart tracks? Compare my version with the saplings to the one you just reverted to: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/images/archive/d/df/20110420172721!BlockCSS.png http://www.minecraftwiki.net/images/d/df/BlockCSS.png
... the only difference is the addition of the two sapling graphics. Xolotl 17:45, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Sorry about the confusion. Your image was right, sorry about the revert. It _might_ have been my browser cache but I'm pretty sure there's something funny going on with the image. Look at its edit history. --Theothersteve7 13:52, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, no worries. As I mentioned over on the Discussion page for the image itself, I suspect that there's some weirdness with file propagation in the cluster, which can make things a bit odd until they finish propagating. Xolotl 17:06, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Beds - Furnaces[]
Hi. Why would that be a feature of the game? I mean, it makes no sense, everything else is in fast forward while you sleep so why not this too? Sakishrist 21:16, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
Nothing else is fast forwarded but the time of day. Leaves don't decay, dropped items don't disappear, mobs don't spawn, despawn, or even move. The time of day is changed, nothing more. --Theothersteve7 14:21, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
To elaborate on bug versus feature. The fact that there was (until recently) no way for snow to be regenerated is a feature. The fact that you can right click a cow's head with a bucket to fill the bucket with milk is a feature. The fact that you can make tall pillars out of sand that don't collapse is a feature. The way Minecraft is currently coded, it would be extraordinarily difficult to make time pass in all of the ways I listed every time you sleep in a bed. It would probably be a performance hit, take a lot of development time, and it wouldn't really add much of anything to the game. Therefore it's just a decision that Mojang made. --Theothersteve7 14:52, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
