Minecraft mods

Minecraft mods are for people who want to modify their games with new features. It is said that mods are really difficult to install. There are thousands of mods. Mods can add new features to your worlds such as new items and more mobs. A mod that adds in more mobs can have new drops. One mod that has more mobs is the orespawn mod. It adds in a ton of new stuff. Weapons in the orespawn mod are really overpowered and will beat most of vanilla minecraft mobs. The overpowered weapons are used to fight bosses like the king which has 7000 health points. It is recommended to fight it with a royal guardian sword which does 750 attack damage. To install mods, you will have to have the right version for the mod. For an example, a 1.6 mod can only be installed if you're minecraft version is 1.6. Mods can update to newer versions through.

Minecraft adventure maps and seeds and Xtra features.

Minecraft adventure maps are quest like games that other people have made. You can download them from specific websites. Minecraft seeds are worlds that other players have been on. For an example, you want to find an ocean monument and you can't find one, you can look up a seed for a world that has a nearby ocean monument. Seeds are simple to get. First create a new world, click world more options and type in the seed number into the seed generator and there you have it. Seeds are listed in long numbers. You too can create seeds. To look at you're seed number, press T and type in the command: /seed You're seed number should appear. Write it down on a piece of paper and put the code on the internet and then other people can use your seed. When playing on a adventure map, there are rules and most of them have custom command blocks set up to tell you what to do and disable features (example: disabling placing blocks and destroying blocks). All ways obey the rules in these maps. There are also mods available for you to download. I have already written an article about mods. There are also texture packs. You always start off with the default minecraft texture pack. You will need to download more texture packs. Texture packs change the looks of textures like items, mobs and blocks.

Recent articles

Please don't create tutorial articles except as subpages of Tutorials. Also, search before creating a new article - it is always better to have one article be expanded than two articles duplicating each other. Lastly, don't sign articles. The edit history keeps track of who created and edited articles, that is not something people need to know unless they want to.

If you have any questions, feel free to check on the style guide or ask me on my talk page. KnightMiner t/c 02:40, 25 December 2015 (UTC)

Also, sign your posts on talk pages with ~~~~, and use the "add topic" button to add a new section. –LauraFi - talk 03:11, 25 December 2015 (UTC)

letter to KnightMiner

I did not duplicate the articles on purpose. Since I joined yesterday, I'm new to the wiki and I thought my talk was to create a new article.

Its okay, most of us made similar mistakes when we first joined the wiki.
Though generally you should be able to use the search box to check for existing articles. KnightMiner t/c 16:29, 25 December 2015 (UTC)

Talk pages

Talk pages aren't forums, they should be used to discuss articles. –LauraFi - talk 02:48, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
