  1. Do not edit other users' comments, except to sign unsigned comments or fix formatting.
  2. Do not edit archives. They are called archives for a reason. Instead of replying to an archived topic, start a new topic with an optional link to the old one. You should also generally avoid replying to topics with the last post over a year ago, as your answer is likely not the case back then.
  3. Follow rule #3 maintaining civil discussions with no harassment, insults, or ad hominem.
  4. Do not delete topics or comments, unless they are your own topic/comment and they have not been replied to. An exception is when archiving or if the topic violates one of the other rules.

undo of mending page[edit]

I added the exact command because the page specifically mentions the ability to do so with commands but does not say how and since it is such a specific combination and it does not work with the normal enchant command I thought it should be added. I had quite some trouble figuring out how to do it even when searching through the enchant pages, the command pages, and just googleing it. Bonecrusher09 (talk) 23:46, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

This info is not supposed to be in articles, it is tutorial-like. Maybe you can make a tutorial page about commands!Humiebeetalk contribs 21:45, 30 December 2020 (UTC) 23:47, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
Humiebee explained it above. The Great Spring (talk | contribs) (Tagalog translation) 23:49, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
Note Commands as simple as that are not applicable for credits, only entire systems should get credits. How to use NBT in commands is explained on other pages in the wiki. Dhranios (talk) (Join the wiki videos project!) 23:50, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
OK, was just trying to help others out if they were looking for the same specific thing I was but not good with syntax. As for the credit, I was just trying not to plagorize or claim it as my own info. Do you guys think it would be ok to add as an example in one of the command pages? Bonecrusher09 (talk) 00:23, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

You got pro :o[edit]

How did you get it? It seems so weird looking at Special:RecentChanges. Did you do anything to get it? Was it given manually, or was it just randomly given out of the blue.Humiebeetalk contribs 01:18, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

I called the support team yesterday because I didn't see a mail, and they give me Gamepedia PRO. TheGreatSpring (talk | contribs) (Tagalog translation) 01:22, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Oh so they manually gave it, ok thanks.Humiebeetalk contribs 01:28, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Cool! I want to get pro some day! You deserve it. 73.89.66.98 01:32, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
You need to have an account for that, so until you make one, you can't get it. Sorry. Dhranios (talk) (Join the wiki videos project!) 01:34, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
I know. :( I meant when i log in. Sorry. 73.89.66.98 01:36, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Didnt you make an account called witherslayer3000 or something like that?'Humiebeetalk contribs 01:38, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Yes. But It glitched So i lost it and i cant. log in anymore to it. What might be the problem is i didn't have enter email address so That might be why. I closed the browser and it disappeared... Here is the link to it. https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/UserProfile:Wither_Slayer_five_thousand . I wish we didn't have to enter email. But it is for conformation, I guess. Once I get an email address I will log back in and be good. :( ( I have had others but same thing.) the link is my best one...)73.89.66.98 01:45, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Hmm. I lost it when I reset my preferences. TheGreatSpring (talk | contribs) (Tagalog translation) 05:23, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Did the same thing and that happened, looks like you'll have to submit another support ticket. James Haydon (talk) 05:25, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Maybe because of the FANDOM migration. TheGreatSpring (talk | contribs) (Tagalog translation) 05:50, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Yea probably, heard a lot of issues like that post-UCP. James Haydon (talk) 05:51, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Ok 73.89.66.98 13:10, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Where did your pro go? i Don't see it anymore.73.89.66.98 13:15, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
He got it back today finally. James Haydon (talk) 23:03, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Why do you keep reverting my edits?[edit]

While I checked the history of them, they were accounts ending with @legacy.com, but with no username.– Unsigned comment added by Chungui23 (talkcontribs) at 01:36, 21 January 2021 (UTC). Sign comments with ~~~~

Sign your posts with ~~~~. They exist in the past which is why I revert your edits. TheGreatSpring (talk) 01:36, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

Question[edit]

Where can report global blocks?--Olivia Capucine Elisabet (talk) 09:04, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Just wait until a SOAP member blocks them. TheGreatSpring (talk) 09:08, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
I want to add that ENDER has advertised a method to crack MC.--Olivia Capucine Elisabet (talk) 10:34, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Don't worry he removed it and said he never intended to advertise a shady launcher. He won't do it again. James Haydon (talk) 22:59, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Why did you revert my edit[edit]

Idk why you reverted my edit I gave legit information BullaTheLesbianQueen-ImALesbianTransgender (talk) 21:16, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Because you added Bedrock content to a Java article. James Haydon (talk) 23:06, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
I was not referring to bedrock edition when I said the word bedrock I was referring to bedrock the block I didn’t add bedrock edition content I even included a video that proves otherwise User:BullaTheLesbianQueen-ImALesbianTransgender
Your video?--Olivia Capucine Elisabet (talk) 08:14, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
We do not document mods on this wiki. Use the FTB wiki. TheGreatSpring (talk) 08:18, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Okay but yeah, repeating what the great spring said, this wiki is only for vanilla content. So feel free to post tutorial videos as long as they are in tutorial articles and are in pure vanilla minecraft. James Haydon (talk) 14:57, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

Texture packs[edit]

Not to tug on ypur sleeves, but the post-1.14 blocks and items texture do not match the old ones in the Programmer Art texture pack. I noticed this with both the nylium blocks, and once the 1.17 comes out, I will see this with the snow bucket and the glow ink sacs. 173.47.246.189 08:33, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

I reverted your edit because per consistency. TheGreatSpring (talk) 08:37, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

Can you fix the formatting on my trivia Addition to the cats page sorry I’m a little new to editing on Minecraft wiki– Unsigned comment added by BullaTheLesbianQueen-ImALesbianTransgender (talkcontribs) at 09:39, 10 February 2021 (UTC). Sign comments with ~~~~

It is reverted because it is not needed and it is already mentioned. TheGreatSpring (talk) 09:42, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

Why 1.16.210's released date is 2021?[edit]

180.190.221.97 10:19, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Because 1.17.0 will be released this year, which means it will also release this year. TheGreatSpring (talk) 10:23, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
But Planned version page says "no set release date" in 1.16.210 section. 180.190.221.97 10:56, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
I corrected that page. TheGreatSpring (talk) 10:59, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

some people do confuse the word "foal"[edit]

Hey, not everyone knows exactly what "foal" means. yes it might be kind of obvious but some people will still be forced to do a quick search which isn't exactly the goal of an encyclopedia, readers should be left with answers not questions. I hope you understand. thank you --Sourtaco67 (talk) 08:10, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

Even though most mules are sterile, they can still be male and/or female. Colt refers to male ones.--Olivia Capucine Elisabet (talk) 08:12, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
The reason why you confuse foal is because maybe you are not a native and skilled speaker of English (I am also not a native speaker but I know English a lot). TheGreatSpring (talk) 08:24, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
Who, me?--Olivia Capucine Elisabet (talk) 08:24, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
I am referring to Sourtaco67, not you. TheGreatSpring (talk) 08:26, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

Pigmen redirect[edit]

Regarding your revert. Thanks for the correction. I didn't realize that Zombified Piglins were called Zombie Pigmen and not just Pigmen (i.e. without the "Zombie" qualifier) before Piglins were introduced. —andrybak (talk) 01:47, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Revision history of "Tutorials/Iron golem farming"[edit]

I get the revert on the water source you did, as I unfortunately didn't read the embedded video rules correctly.

But why do you revert the change on the Tutorials/Iron golem farming? As I stated in the changelog: The section for Bedrock video's is missing the most important farm and that is the single platform iron farm. That is no self-promotion, that is filling a tutorial gap with a video. – Unsigned comment added by The RAH (talkcontribs) at 11:10, 3 March 2021 (UTC). Sign comments with ~~~~

It is blatant self-promotion as the YouTube channel you linked is has the same name as your name. TheGreatSpring (talk | contribs) (Tagalog translation) 11:15, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
So as long as I don't put that video in, but someone else does it, it is alright? Where does it say that in the rules?
I'm putting in a tutorial (aka how-to) video on a tutorial page, which is allowed.
It is in the video section, which is mandatory.
The content in the video is represented internally in the text, which is mandatory.
And just because it is my video (that I made because I missed this tutorial on this page previously and it will help people) it is not allowed, because I bare the same name?
I am not self promotion here, I'm trying to help other people with this kind of farm.
That ultimately would mean that if the video was added by someone else, it is alright and it won't be removed? That is a weird interpretation of the blatant self promotion statement. The RAH (talk) 11:27, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Just so you know as well; I've posted a request for a second opinion on the self promotion rule on the admin noticeboard.
Something is not right with this rule, or it is not explained correctly. So I want the admins to take a look as well. The RAH (talk) 12:30, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Sorry, but I agree with RAH, it was not intended as promotion, it was intended as providing missing information. Videos that are more targeted towards "Hey, subscribe to me, leave likes and make sure to watch my other videos" are another matter. Dhranios (talk) (Join the wiki videos project!) 13:28, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
I strongly disagree. The owner of a YouTube video stands to gain financially from additional views that may happen from inclusion in this wiki. Whether intended as promotion or not, this gives the appearance of blatant COI editing. RAH should have proposed the link on the talk page and let someone else decide. This is the standard Wikipedia follows, and should be the same here. Amatulic (talk) 03:57, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
