Texture update

Soon, the texture update will arrive. I believe we need to retexture every pictures in the wiki. Do we need to start a project? Skylord wars (talk) 13:16, 20 January 2018 (UTC)

Skylord wars, we will need to do that eventually, and we should probably start a project at some point. However, in my opinion, I think we should wait until there is a little bit more information about the texture update. I know that they already know what the textures will be, but it's still possible that the update won't be released for a very long time. However, I don't think it would hurt start uploading them - I'm just not quite sure if a project would be necessary just yet.--Madminecrafter12TalkContributions 15:51, 3 February 2018 (UTC)

Bedrock game files

Does anyone know where the game files of the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft located? I only know the place for saves, resource packs and behavior packs. Note that I want the Windows 10 version.--Skylord wars (talk) 05:59, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

Skylord wars The files are stored in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps, this is a hidden folder though and even on an administrator account you won't have permission to open it, i had to fight with windows for over 30 minutes to get into mine. If you just need a copy of the files though i can give you a mediafire link to the files for 1.2.20.1. jjlr (talk) 07:18, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
Thanks. There is a download link for the latest recommended version . It's from Mojang. Resource pack and behavior packs.--Skylord wars (talk) 14:15, 15 April 2018 (UTC)

Texture pack really Java only?

I've never had Minecraft on a console, so when I updated Texture pack I first read it very carefully and studied its update history to understand what it said before people started changing it for Bedrock. According to its History section, the old Java texture packs were also used in Console Edition for a while. That's why I changed the {{exclusive}} template to say Java and Legacy Console Edition. Your edit removed the latter from the template. I realize that it no longer applies to LCE, but then it no longer applies to Java either, so it still seems to me it should have both...or neither. Why do you think Legacy Console Edition shouldn't be included but Java should? – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 12:01, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
