Userboxes concern from JohnTheMon

Ok, i can see that users might want boxes for their pages. Why, then, are all the templates under your username? Why aren't they in the general template namespace? Mind you, at this point you'll probably want to bring it up to the Community portal before doing any moves, but the questions still stand. --JonTheMon 05:37, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Basically this: Fear of deletion. It seems that at this wiki, if you are doing any kind of content that is experimental, it's easier and better to do it in your namespace. that way there is more buy in from the community, and your content won't likely be deleted. --Jonnay 16:04, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Why not post in my userspace? On Wikipedia, you're supposed to post in your userspace for most UBX. I figured it'd be easier to put them in my userspace. Oxguy3 tc 16:56, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Request to use User:Oxguy3/myboxes/t

I want to use your template in my page. Do you mind me using it? Somebody500 (有人500) 22:18, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Absolutely you can! I'm glad to hear that someone else joining me in creating userboxes. Oxguy3 tc 22:09, 5 May 2011 (UTC)

Userbox request

Hello
Seeing as you made nearly all the userboxes here, and I'm not particularly familiar with them, would I be able to make a request?
I was thinking something like "This user played Minecraft during Beta" but instead the user can insert the version they started playing in, eg. "This user has been playing Minecraft since INSERT VERSION HERE." (Beta 1.2_01 for example) Dunny 12:15, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

I've made the userbox, add {{User:Oxguy3/myboxes/playingsince|DATE/VERSION}} to your user page to use it. -Oxguy3 tc 21:51, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
Thanks bro. :D Dunny 01:53, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
