Licensing files

Please, remember to select the license when uploading the files. For Mojang creations use: License Mojang, thank you. Oakar567 (talk) 20:23, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

Also just in case you weren't aware, you can set the license on the uploading screen (in the licensing dropdown under the summary box), instead of having to go back afterwards to set the license. (assuming you uploaded the files through Special:Upload) –Sonicwave talk 04:26, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

Sound tables

Can you convert the sound tables you've added into dungeons sound tables (by changing the bedrock parameter to dungeons)? This way it doesn't clog up unrelated maintenance categories with irrelevant entries. - User-12316399 (talk) 10:44, 9 April 2020 (UTC)

Sprite template

Please note that File:DungeonsItemCSS.png isn't meant to be uploaded manually (you have to use the sprite editor).
Since the creation of this template, you can now upload your sprites using the "Edit sprite" tab (located beside "Edit") on that template page. With it, you can upload individual sprite using the floating toolbar. These sprites will always be on 32×32px resolution, mostly to preserve those that are larger than 16×16px. They may look larger and slightly blurry upon upload, but that wouldn't affect the resulting image. So there you have it and always keep up the great work! – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 17:26, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Image scaling

I noticed that your "gear" images are not consistent with the resolution, I suggest when you have finished creating the sprite, change the canvas layer size to be 32×32px, then scale it up with nearest neighbor interpolation to 320×320px. The scale factor here is important that it must be an integer, so 32×32px shouldn't be scaled up to 300×300px or 360×360px. In which case it is scaled up by a factor of 10 (32px→320px). Also you aren't consistent when deciding a name for these files, they should be the same name with the in-game with additional suffix E.g: "Frost Scythe Sprite". Although I don't see any particular benefits with these images, it's best to consider whether they are necessary to have in the infobox or be moved to the gallery. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 20:20, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Personally, I believe keeping the sprites in the infobox is important, as when on the level select map, you don't see the actual render of the item; instead you see the sprite. Seeing as how some sprites are rather hard to differentiate (See Soul Knife and Truthseeker), I believe keeping them in the infobox is the wisest decision. However, it does not personally matter that much to me, so do as you see fit. Oreli (talk) 06:15, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Hey, do you happen to have a discord account? I'd like to ask a couple questions via a pm/dm if possible about some of the Minecraft Dungeons stuff you have been editing on. Official Izzibaby (talk)

I do, you can get to me at Oreli#6364. Oreli (talk) 23:35, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
I sent you a friend request, once you accept it, if you could DM me back. I can't DM you until it's accepted. Official Izzibaby (talk)

Files Gone

Yo uh, when i attempt to go to the dungeons beta folder on drive, it tells me its in your bin. So if you could un-bin them so i can download em, that would be helpful.--HNaledi123 (talk) 13:44, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

yeah i uploaded those from my dropbox which i realized had jumbled around all the files, so i'm currently reuploading them without any screw ups. sorry for the inconvenience. Oreli (talk) 14:12, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
Oh, alright! Its fine i aint in any hurry.--HNaledi123 (talk) 14:25, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

Okay, a user named PedroDungeons1776 (talkcontribslogsblock log) created a page called Armored Mountaineer and said it was a variant of the Mountaineer, can you check the game files once more to see if it exists? If you cant find it at all, then tag it for deletion and move the contents back to the base page if they have been removed from there. James Haydon (talk) 19:50, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

i couldn't find anything personally, but there aren't any distinctions between armored and non-armored variants. frankly, i have no idea whether or not they exist or not, so leave the page up for now. Oreli (talk) 00:00, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
Also there is someone named Minecraft Dungeons Ocean DLC (talkcontribslogsblock log) thats making a bunch of levels for the Ocean, Nether and End DLC's. They are most likely speculation since the file for those DLC's have not been released yet. James Haydon (talk) 00:25, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
yeah none of the things they're posting about are in the files lol Oreli (talk) 00:28, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
Probably the same person as Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens (talkcontribslogsblock log), Minecraft Dungeons Creeping Winter (talkcontribslogsblock log) and Minecraft Dungeons Howling Peaks (talkcontribslogsblock log), or possibly an alt of MagicFighter (talkcontribslogsblock log). Unconfirmed SFX

On the Evoker and Arch-Illager pages on the Dungeons wiki, there are some unconfirmed sounds. Like the Evoker death scream or the boss sample sound. Can you search the files for those sounds. James Haydon (talk) 17:08, 26 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi! Can you please tell why you reverted my edit? The Great Spring (talk | contribs) (Tagalog translation) 05:55, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

mobs generally aren't listed for obtaining because all mobs within a level where it can be obtained can drop it. in this case, the nameless one was listed, but that's just because it's obtainable in the desert temple. Oreli (talk) 15:34, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

double userbox

Can I correct an error on your talk page? On the userboxes, it says "Oreli has slain the Ender Dragon" two times, can I correct it please?– Unsigned comment added by Chungui23 (talkcontribs) at 20:16, 5 January 2021 (UTC). Sign comments with ~~~~

oh yeah, thanks for bringing that to my attention. i was originally gonna leave it bc i've beaten it (way) more than once and i thought it'd be funny, but i'll remove it. thanks Oreli (talk) 20:18, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
