Edit counter
I saw your post on the Strategy wiki. I have Najzere's talk page watched lol. Anyways, her script doesn't work on the Minecraft Wiki mainly due to the API calls on their wiki using MediaWiki's default /w/ server url, which is what the script calls, while this wiki's install does not have that set, causing an API error every time the counter tries to access our API. The reason I mentioned ultradude25 on her talk page is because he found this out a while ago and tinkered with her script so that it would work here. This is why I gave him credit when I made my version of the script.
You can either follow the directions to the page I just linked, or use ultradude25's script. Either way, copying the script to your own space is not required. Both his script and mine require you to go to your common.js or vector.js page (doesn't matter on this wiki) and put code into it to load the script. To use ultradude25's script, you can find the required lines here. —Kanegasi ☺C 10:34, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- Something doesn't make sense. When I copied the code from your Wikipedia user page, as per the link earlier, it just a appears as a bunch of code. There's no real edit counter there at all. Is it because I was checking though my iPad or was the code just not working for me?

- There is a v67 counter link on my user page, however, when I click it. It says "Success!" after a while. Where do I actually view the number edits I've done? Numbermaniac 11:45, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- Its alright, I just found the page. Yay!! Thanks so much! Numbermaniac 11:47, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'm glad I could help, but I also noticed that having those vars blank made the table all weird and empty. Go ahead and delete the following lines in your common.js page to get a "normal" table, if you want:
var mainDivAttrib = '';
var mainTableAttrib = '';
var topRowAttrib = '';
var bottomRowAttrib = '';
- Everything seems to be working. Thanks!!!! Numbermaniac 12:00, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
You're using this script way too frequently. At most it should be updated once a week, preferably less often like maybe once a month. –ultradude25 ᐸ Talk

- As I have mentioned on my talk page, I made the same suggestion in the usage section of Najzere's altered documentation for my script, and you did say you read it. I suggest you read through WP:HIGHSCORE. It was one of the things I stumbled across when I began my overhaul of that script.

I saw your post on the Community Something (I forgot the rest) page, and it was about that PvP server (I forgot the name). Do you play on it? And what is it like? (I'm interested in servers). 70.181.68.226 04:44, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- There's a great server called Project Ares, and the website is oc.tc. It's a great and fun pvp server, and they even record your stats, as in how many people you killed, how many times you died, etc. They even have leaderboards on it!
- I've been recently playing on a cracked server called minecraftsmp.org, and that's a good one too. But if you want PvP, Project Ares is great. Click the Play Now button one the first link to see their servers. The address is the server name, followed by oc.tc. Have fun! :D -- Numbermaniac - T - C 07:43, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Cool. If I get a chance to go on Minecraft, I'll practice sword fighting, shooting arrows (especially, since I'm a very bad shot), dueling with a friend, hand to hand combat with zombies, etc. And building. I'm a good builder and an excellent Redstone engineer. 70.181.68.226 14:44, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Can anyone join them, or are they private? (I mean the servers) 70.181.68.226 15:08, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Never mind the last question. The Project Ares server looks fun. But would I see you as "Numbermaniac" in game? 70.181.68.226 15:14, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- And is the Project Ares website only "oc.tc"? (because I'm not using a computer, so I can't really use the links...) 70.181.68.226 15:17, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, Numbermaniac... Can you change your in game name, or it has to stay what it is...?
70.181.68.226 15:41, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, that's a lot of questions you fired at me. Ok...
- The servers are public, anyone can join them.
- You would see me as NumberManiac in-game.
- The website for Project Ares is just oc.tc. If you were to join a server, you would have to find the server's name (Gamma, Delta, Beta etc.) and add that on to oc.tc. This means the server address for Beta, for example, is beta.oc.tc.
- You can't change your name in-game, it just stays as your Minecraft username.
Have fun! -- Numbermaniac - T - C 00:05, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- I wish that you could change the name. Well, I guess I'll have to settle for thewatsons2. (Believe me, I did NOT let's say that again N-O-T choose that name.) 70.181.68.226 03:15, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- On the bright side..... I might make another file! (But, sadly, this is very unlikely.) If I do, you'd see me as Aerbunny or Aerbunny02. But probably not. I'll most likely appear to you as thewatsons2. Good day to you! From, 70.181.68.226 03:31, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- On the Upcoming Features page, it says that in the future, you may be able to change the username. The only problem they have with this is that some users complain that this could make a problem in regards to server blacklists. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 08:18, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Unique and unchangable player IDs with names as string variables assigned to that ID/user? And blacklists can use IDs instead of names. (I know where to place suggestions; I know that's going to break a lot, but doesn't every update break something?) --GreenStone(cont) (ru.Wiki Admin) 08:36, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- That's a great idea! You should suggest it to them! Updates do break things, hence the Bug Tracker :D. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 08:58, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- That makes sense...70.181.68.226 14:08, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
What he means is that each user has a unique player ID, so even if users change usernames, their ID will still be the same. This means they can't change their username to avoid the server blacklist. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 23:32, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- But how do you join the SMP server? 70.181.68.226 00:47, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- (Personally, I think I should have posted this before the SMP server question, but I figured out how to do the Project Ares server, yay!) 70.181.68.226 00:49, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- Great! Have fun on Project Ares! If you have any questions about the server, don't feel scared to ask. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 03:36, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- One thing... have you played on and are going to play on Project Ares? Please tell me? And can you answer my SMP server question? Thanks! 70.181.68.226 03:45, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- Nothing's special about a SMP server. To join, the address is mnnecraftsmp.org, which is the same address for the website. I have played on Project Ares, and you can see my stats here, although I'm not sure if I will go on it. The server is great, but I like the minecraftsmp.org server more, mainly because I'm not very good at PvP. If you want just PvP, Project Ares is the way to go. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 04:56, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- I have three things to say...
1: Tomorrow, I'm going to try out Project Are, on the server that is least crowded, so you'll probably find me on the least crowded server. (I said that twice, didn't I.)
2: By "getting onto" the server I mean, does it have a "Play Now" button or something?
3: Are you going to play the SMP server?
Thank you. 70.181.68.226 05:09, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- You did say that twice, but it's alright, :D
- There is no Play Now button, basically all it is is that once you type the server address and click "Join" or whatever it is, you're in!
- I regularly play on that server, at least once every three days. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 05:41, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
Ad removal
I felt this wasn't really appropriate to mention on the admin noticeboard. Your ad removal isn't fixing the empty right space and the blocking is a bit messy. May I suggest you use exactly what I have at the bottom of my common.css? This'll properly block the top ad (atflb), bottom ads (btflb), floating ad thing on the bottom (ad-wrapper), side bar (curse-panel), adjust blank right space (bodyContent2 stuff), and hide the Curse sites on the bottom (#ft). If you don't want to hide the Curse sites on the bottom, just remove the #ft. —Kanegasi ☺C 08:57, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- I'm not very good at css, but I thought I could try my hand at something like this. It is a lot neater than mine. Thanks. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 11:28, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, yours is a lot better. Also, does this mean I have to get rid of that Ad removal page? -- Numbermaniac - T - C 11:36, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- No, you don't have to get rid of it. There's no rule against formatting your own wiki experience or letting people know how to remove ads, but in respect to Curse, it's not really appropriate to formally mention how to remove their ads. There's a few other users that have ad removal instructions in their userspace as well, but it should stay in userspaces.

hi
Hi, Numbermaniac! -Me, 70.181.68.226 17:58, 10 April 2013 (UTC)!
- Hello! lol. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 00:34, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi LOL!!!! 70.181.68.226 03:27, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Since when did I have a talk page? How did I get it? ???????? Question Mark. 70.181.68.226 05:13, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- I created it, :P. Full stop. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 05:47, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi. 70.181.68.226 03:20, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. Again. :P -- Numbermaniac - T - C 06:15, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hello 70.181.68.226 05:17, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hello!!! :P. Yet again. Lol. Have you seen the box at the top of this talk page? -- Numbermaniac - T - C 08:21, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
- Wow! How did you make it blue?! 70.181.68.226 13:12, 24 April 2013 (UTC)70.181.68.226 13:13, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
Seriously... how did you make it blue? 70.181.68.226 10:19, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- I wonder how I forgot to answer. Apart from the parameters of title and text, I set a bgcol to #1df, and a linecol of #ddf. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 01:39, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- Say what? 70.181.68.226 04:04, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- Remember how you typed:
{{msgbox
| title = Hello!
| text = Stuff. :P
}} ?
Just like that, I added two more:
| bgcol= #1df | linecol = #ddf
- -- Numbermaniac - T - C 07:17, 27 April 2013 (UTC) indent: -- Numbermaniac - T - C 07:29, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- Bgcol sets the background color of the box to a bluish color, and similar for the line color. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 07:22, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
I did it! Yay! 70.181.68.226 08:25, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, you copied it! I didn't really say you could use the same color, though. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 09:59, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- I changed it to be the opposite colors, ok? :D! 70.181.68.226 03:34, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- OMG, that actually makes a big difference, lol. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 03:42, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah. Its pretty, though. 70.181.68.226 03:43, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- It is. Also,without a watchlist, how do you know when we reply to you? -- Numbermaniac - T - C 03:45, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
I memorize the page names and check them regularly. :P 70.181.68.226 03:49, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Lol, interesting. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 03:52, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- I have good memory. :D! Hey, I have a watch list! Only it's in my brain! 70.181.68.226 03:53, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Except that it doesn't tell you when an update to a page comes. Anyway, Lol! -- Numbermaniac - T - C 03:55, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Though I can make a section on my user page that says what pages I'm watching with links to them.... 70.181.68.226 03:57, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Pfft, that also works. Have fun. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 03:59, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Okay! 70.181.68.226 04:19, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, I can't wait until the update comes out so you can play on the servers again! :P 70.181.68.226 04:37, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Neither can I, but it might be a while. 1.5.2 only just came out (pre-release) so it might be a wait. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 04:52, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
I hope the wait isn't long! 70.181.68.226 04:59, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Me neither. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 05:25, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah. And why aren't you replying on my talk page? 70.181.68.226 05:40, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry. I was expanding the Minecraft page on StrategyWiki. :P. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 06:52, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, I like your colorful signature! The one you used to have. :D 70.181.68.226 15:55, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- What do you mean the one I used to have? -- Numbermaniac - T - C 04:34, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- I meant the one with the separate colors: Num one color, ber another, and maniac another color :P --70.181.68.226 04:42, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Oh. Ok. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 07:27, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
I think this is completely unrelated to the previous subject, but how do you take a screenshot? --70.181.68.226 03:40, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
