Edit counter
I saw your post on the Strategy wiki. I have Najzere's talk page watched lol. Anyways, her script doesn't work on the Minecraft Wiki mainly due to the API calls on their wiki using MediaWiki's default /w/ server url, which is what the script calls, while this wiki's install does not have that set, causing an API error every time the counter tries to access our API. The reason I mentioned ultradude25 on her talk page is because he found this out a while ago and tinkered with her script so that it would work here. This is why I gave him credit when I made my version of the script.
You can either follow the directions to the page I just linked, or use ultradude25's script. Either way, copying the script to your own space is not required. Both his script and mine require you to go to your common.js or vector.js page (doesn't matter on this wiki) and put code into it to load the script. To use ultradude25's script, you can find the required lines here. —Kanegasi ☺C 10:34, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- Something doesn't make sense. When I copied the code from your Wikipedia user page, as per the link earlier, it just a appears as a bunch of code. There's no real edit counter there at all. Is it because I was checking though my iPad or was the code just not working for me?
- Numbermaniac 11:37, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- There is a v67 counter link on my user page, however, when I click it. It says "Success!" after a while. Where do I actually view the number edits I've done? Numbermaniac 11:45, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- Its alright, I just found the page. Yay!! Thanks so much! Numbermaniac 11:47, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'm glad I could help, but I also noticed that having those vars blank made the table all weird and empty. Go ahead and delete the following lines in your common.js page to get a "normal" table, if you want:
var mainDivAttrib = '';
var mainTableAttrib = '';
var topRowAttrib = '';
var bottomRowAttrib = '';
- Everything seems to be working. Thanks!!!! Numbermaniac 12:00, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
You're using this script way too frequently. At most it should be updated once a week, preferably less often like maybe once a month. –ultradude25 ᐸ Talk

- As I have mentioned on my talk page, I made the same suggestion in the usage section of Najzere's altered documentation for my script, and you did say you read it. I suggest you read through WP:HIGHSCORE. It was one of the things I stumbled across when I began my overhaul of that script.

I saw your post on the Community Something (I forgot the rest) page, and it was about that PvP server (I forgot the name). Do you play on it? And what is it like? (I'm interested in servers). 70.181.68.226 04:44, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- There's a great server called Project Ares, and the website is oc.tc. It's a great and fun pvp server, and they even record your stats, as in how many people you killed, how many times you died, etc. They even have leaderboards on it!
- I've been recently playing on a cracked server called minecraftsmp.org, and that's a good one too. But if you want PvP, Project Ares is great. Click the Play Now button one the first link to see their servers. The address is the server name, followed by oc.tc. Have fun! :D -- Numbermaniac - T - C 07:43, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Cool. If I get a chance to go on Minecraft, I'll practice sword fighting, shooting arrows (especially, since I'm a very bad shot), dueling with a friend, hand to hand combat with zombies, etc. And building. I'm a good builder and an excellent Redstone engineer. 70.181.68.226 14:44, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Can anyone join them, or are they private? (I mean the servers) 70.181.68.226 15:08, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Never mind the last question. The Project Ares server looks fun. But would I see you as "Numbermaniac" in game? 70.181.68.226 15:14, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- And is the Project Ares website only "oc.tc"? (because I'm not using a computer, so I can't really use the links...) 70.181.68.226 15:17, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, Numbermaniac... Can you change your in game name, or it has to stay what it is...?
70.181.68.226 15:41, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, that's a lot of questions you fired at me. Ok...
- The servers are public, anyone can join them.
- You would see me as NumberManiac in-game.
- The website for Project Ares is just oc.tc. If you were to join a server, you would have to find the server's name (Gamma, Delta, Beta etc.) and add that on to oc.tc. This means the server address for Beta, for example, is beta.oc.tc.
- You can't change your name in-game, it just stays as your Minecraft username.
Have fun! -- Numbermaniac - T - C 00:05, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- I wish that you could change the name. Well, I guess I'll have to settle for thewatsons2. (Believe me, I did NOT let's say that again N-O-T choose that name.) 70.181.68.226 03:15, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- On the bright side..... I might make another file! (But, sadly, this is very unlikely.) If I do, you'd see me as Aerbunny or Aerbunny02. But probably not. I'll most likely appear to you as thewatsons2. Good day to you! From, 70.181.68.226 03:31, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- On the Upcoming Features page, it says that in the future, you may be able to change the username. The only problem they have with this is that some users complain that this could make a problem in regards to server blacklists. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 08:18, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Unique and unchangable player IDs with names as string variables assigned to that ID/user? And blacklists can use IDs instead of names. (I know where to place suggestions; I know that's going to break a lot, but doesn't every update break something?) --GreenStone(cont) (ru.Wiki Admin) 08:36, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- That's a great idea! You should suggest it to them! Updates do break things, hence the Bug Tracker :D. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 08:58, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- That makes sense...70.181.68.226 14:08, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
What he means is that each user has a unique player ID, so even if users change usernames, their ID will still be the same. This means they can't change their username to avoid the server blacklist. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 23:32, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- But how do you join the SMP server? 70.181.68.226 00:47, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- (Personally, I think I should have posted this before the SMP server question, but I figured out how to do the Project Ares server, yay!) 70.181.68.226 00:49, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- Great! Have fun on Project Ares! If you have any questions about the server, don't feel scared to ask. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 03:36, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- One thing... have you played on and are going to play on Project Ares? Please tell me? And can you answer my SMP server question? Thanks! 70.181.68.226 03:45, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- Nothing's special about a SMP server. To join, the address is mnnecraftsmp.org, which is the same address for the website. I have played on Project Ares, and you can see my stats here, although I'm not sure if I will go on it. The server is great, but I like the minecraftsmp.org server more, mainly because I'm not very good at PvP. If you want just PvP, Project Ares is the way to go. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 04:56, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- I have three things to say...
1: Tomorrow, I'm going to try out Project Are, on the server that is least crowded, so you'll probably find me on the least crowded server. (I said that twice, didn't I.)
2: By "getting onto" the server I mean, does it have a "Play Now" button or something?
3: Are you going to play the SMP server?
Thank you. 70.181.68.226 05:09, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- You did say that twice, but it's alright, :D
- There is no Play Now button, basically all it is is that once you type the server address and click "Join" or whatever it is, you're in!
- I regularly play on that server, at least once every three days. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 05:41, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
Ad removal
I felt this wasn't really appropriate to mention on the admin noticeboard. Your ad removal isn't fixing the empty right space and the blocking is a bit messy. May I suggest you use exactly what I have at the bottom of my common.css? This'll properly block the top ad (atflb), bottom ads (btflb), floating ad thing on the bottom (ad-wrapper), side bar (curse-panel), adjust blank right space (bodyContent2 stuff), and hide the Curse sites on the bottom (#ft). If you don't want to hide the Curse sites on the bottom, just remove the #ft. —Kanegasi ☺C 08:57, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- I'm not very good at css, but I thought I could try my hand at something like this. It is a lot neater than mine. Thanks. -- Numbermaniac - T - C 11:28, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, yours is a lot better. Also, does this mean I have to get rid of that Ad removal page? -- Numbermaniac - T - C 11:36, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- No, you don't have to get rid of it. There's no rule against formatting your own wiki experience or letting people know how to remove ads, but in respect to Curse, it's not really appropriate to formally mention how to remove their ads. There's a few other users that have ad removal instructions in their userspace as well, but it should stay in userspaces.

- I know that to find a square root you do not do this: n/2. You do this: n(n)=sqr, with n being a number and sqr being the square root.
- I was just seeing if you would notice with 412.5 being called the square root of 825.
- I am guessing I know more than you about math. I am in the 6th grade, and I know quantum physics. ×Meeples10× 10:22, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

- I have answers!
- I bolded your note.
- I know how quantum physics work.
- I am in the Gifted and Talented program in my school, and have been since the last week of Kindergarten.
- Here is an example of quantum physics:
If someone burned 3 kilograms of gasoline, it would yield 140,000,000 Joules of energy.
The mass would be 3 kilograms and the speed of light(c) is 299,792,458 meters per second. So c2 = 89,875,517,800,000,000 m2/sec2 which rounds to 9 x 1016 m2/sec2. So, the energy equals 3 kg x 9 x 1016 m2/sec2 (c2), which equals 27 x 1016kg x m2/sec2 which equals 2.7 x 1017 Joules.
Understand? ×Meeples10× 10:37, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
- Let me just at one thing firstly :HOLY CRAP. That is awesome. Finally, someone in this world like me, so into maths. Hooray, :D! But seriously, for the win. I know things none of the 6th grade teachers knew. On a test we took (I'm not sure of the name) that determines our electives, teachers, and if we are in Gifted the next year, I scored 1135 out of 1200. - I fell asleep in the floor last night. I have literally only slept 6 hours in the last 3 days. My favorite song is this:
| Jesus Saves |
|---|
|
Hear the heart of heaven beating, Jesus Saves. Jesus saves. And the hush of mercy breathing, Jesus Saves. Jesus saves. Hear the host of angels sing, "Glory to the Newborn King." And the sounding joy repeating, "Jesus saves." See the humblest hearts adore Him. Jesus saves. Jesus saves. And the wisest bow before Him. Jesus saves. Jesus saves. See the sky alive with praise, melting darkness in its place. There is life forevermore, Jesus saves. Jesus saves. He will live our sorrow sharing, Jesus saves. Jesus saves. He will die our burden bearing, Jesus saves. Jesus saves. It is done! will shout the cross, Christ has paid redemption's cost! While the empty tomb's declaring, "Jesus saves." Freedom's calling chains are falling hope is dawning bright and true. Day is breaking, night is quaking, God is making all things new. Jesus saves. Oh to grace, how great a debtor! Jesus saves, Jesus saves. All the saints who shout together: "Jesus saves." Rising up so vast and strong, lifting up salvation's song, The redeemed will sing forever, Jesus saves. Jesus saves.

- The most impressive thing is that I have memorized the entire song. ×Meeples10× 11:09, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- Impressive. That's the kind of song I like.
- Numbermaniac, I did try! I put in the username and password and everything... but I didn't touch the create account button. --70.181.68.226 13:14, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- Okay. Now that I've read it all through and actually sing it in a whisper, I think it's beautiful. WHY HASN'T ANYONE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS SONG BEFORE?! And about the short sleeping time... I've been there, buddy. For the last 3 days, I've been waking up at 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning. --70.181.68.226 13:22, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- Italics = chorus in the song. We sing this almost every Sunday in my church. ×Meeples10× 13:43, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- For some reason, I know the words to this really slow song that goes for 04:37, even though I don't find it very interesting. It's called Take Care by Drake featuring Rihanna, but I cannot believe I know all the words. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 11:14, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

- A boy in my class (by the way, I am in 6th grade) got stabbed Friday. Stabbed. With a knife. At school. He was in the hospital for a week and 2 days having his biproducts pumped through a tube because his intestines had a hole in them. That is a great reason to not want to go to school!

Server stuff
Hey Numbermaniac, on the MinecraftSMP server, do you mind if I make a shop in the same building as yours? --70.181.68.226 02:18, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- You can't place blocks in a plot that belongs to someone else. So I can only place blocks in the wild and my plot. Same for everyone else, except probably admins and the people who own the entire estate. Otherwise, ordinary users can only place blocks in plots belonging to them and in the wild. Sorry. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 02:46, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Man. But, luckily, I made a shop! All I need is someone to make the public warp for me... --70.181.68.226 02:59, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Congratulations! Remember the special format for making shops. Also, ANYONE can make warps! All you have to type is...
/warp create WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL IT
You can then access it by type /w THE NAME. You may also want to set it to your home. Stand where you want your home to be, then type /sethome. Then you can access it by typing /home. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 04:42, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry to burst your happy little bubble there, BUT...
- It said that I have reached the maximum of public warps I was allowed to create. Guess how many that was? ZERO. --70.181.68.226 04:55, 25 May 2013 (UTC) (ps-My tone isn't as sarcastic as it seems)
- WHAT?! I honestly do not understand that. You're in the oldworld right? If so... weird. I don't get it. Maybe ask in the helpme channel? -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 05:05, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- I don't get it either. I'll try again and ask. --70.181.68.226 05:09, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Also, the warp will be /w SheepShop! (Without the exclamation point) --70.181.68.226 05:10, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Tell me what happens, I'm kind of curious. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 05:21, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
I will. And, as the owner of the shop, I hereby give you the right to advertise /w numbershop! --70.181.68.226 05:25, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, thanks! But again, I can't place things in your shop. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 05:41, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, you can. I didn't build it on a plot. --70.181.68.226 05:45, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Because I have absolutely no idea how to get one. --70.181.68.226 06:05, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Then where the heck did you build it?! -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:09, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Chill.
- I built it near a bunch of buildings.
- Good day to you, sir! --70.181.68.226 06:14, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- That doesn't really help. You get bunches of building everywhere! Was it in the wild? -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:16, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
In the wild, literally RIGHT NEXT TO another shop. (/w heroman). Sadly, the doors don't work, you have to get him to open them for you. You go around, turn o the left, and follow the stairs with the sign that says, "To SheepShop!" --70.181.68.226 06:19, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- It's a cobblestone building with no roof. Can you help me expand it? --70.181.68.226 06:31, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- I can't play until 1.6 comes, remember? Yeah, another thing is that doors can only be opened by the person who placed them. That's why my shop doesn't have doors, and most shops don't. I'm not sure how he would like your shop being attached to his. Be wary that he could destroy your shop and/or kill you at any time. If you don't mind waiting until 1.6, I could put it on top of mine, but then you can't modify it. I'd suggest having your shop separate, no doors. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:35, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- It's not attached; it's actually a fair distance away. And for now, he's left me alone. I can destroy the door, though. --70.181.68.226 06:37, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oh yeah. And how do you get a plot? --70.181.68.226 06:38, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Is the door there for his plot or your plot?
- To get a plot, you can either find one that is for sale, contact the owner and buy it, or you might be able to find an empty one. If you do, I'll give further instructions. Oh, and either way, you'll need an Iron Ore. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:40, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- What are you talking about?
- I'll find an empty one. And I can buy an iron ore. Can you please tell me how? --70.181.68.226 06:44, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- I think my talk page is bigger than yours, just check under my table of contents. Some empty plots don't let you place an iron ore, even though it seems unoccupied. If you lose your iron ore trying to place one, quickly disconnect and reconnect. You'll get it back.
Firstly, type /ps on. Then place the iron ore on top of the orangey coloured block in the center. Then turn /ps off, and you should get a message saying "Entering sheepuff20's Beginner Plot". (Depending on the size, it may not always say beginner. Mine does.) Keep the Iron Ore there, don't remove it. (Mine still has it, and so should yours.) If you're looking for a plot in the land where mine is, you could ask Dinnerbone (not the real one) whether there are any plots there for usage. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 06:49, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
Ohh, that's what I was doing wrong. And Dinnerbone, the nonreal one, was on, and I'm all, what?! Dinnerbone plays on THIS SERVER?! and he's ON?! --70.181.68.226 06:55, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
