Bot request
Would you be able to move Minecraft Wiki:Projects/Village Blueprints to Village/Blueprints along with all of the project's subpages? I tried moving them using the Move page feature but it came up with errors each time. –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk

- Done, though the pages will need a bit of cleanup after the move to fit mainspace standards. –KnightMiner 03:23, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
Could you fix all the double redirects from the recent page merge? Thanks –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk

One more bot request - removing Pi Edition from history tables on pages (and also remove pi edition references from the history template etc) –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk
Contribs 04:15, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
- And Done as well.
{{history}}has also been edited to remove the pi edition mode (which was just a{{verlink}}prefix a header really) –KnightMiner 21:48, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Now that 0.14.0 is released for PE, can your bot update the relevant history tables? –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk
Contribs 20:31, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
- Done. Headers should be removed or replaced with the alpha version (based on the page). –KnightMiner 22:21, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
End crystal
If you've removed the end crystal from Template:BlockSprite, how would I fix this: Obsidian_Pillar | AndrewAB (talk|contr) 13:53, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
- Hmm, I can see why it would be useful there, as adding a sprite to the block sheet is easier than modifying
{{BlockGrid}}to support entities. I reverted my edit. –KnightMiner 14:01, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
How do you make a bot?
How do you make a bot? --173.228.205.51 13:17, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- Start by making an account and making good contributions, then have a need for a bot. My policy on teaching users about bots is generally if you cannot figure out how to get started, you probably don't need one. –KnightMiner 22:25, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
- How many maxinum bots can you have? I planned when sign in, 12 bots I will make--67.224.209.34 20:26, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Until you create an account, develop a reputation as a reliable editor, and can articulate what you need a bot for, you won't have any. I have yet to see anyone with a need for more than one bot. If you just want to play around with a wiki, you can install MediaWiki on your own computer and make yourself as many bots as you want there. -- Orthotopetalk 20:48, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- So, you mean i can spam myself 12 bots when registered? If not, please delete this message--67.224.209.34 20:57, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
Edit count help
I am attempting to create an edit count setup as per the documentation on StrategyWiki by User:Najzere. Currently, it seems to do nothing. If you could please provide some guidance or advice as to how you set up yours successfully, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Maethoredhel (t • c •

- I did not do anything, I just used one of Majr's scripts. It does not properly handle namespaces for the record, thus neither of us have really bother using it any time recently, so there is a good chance a recent wiki update broke the script. –KnightMiner 23:02, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
- @ KnightMiner: OK, I understand now. Thank you for explaining! ☺ Maethoredhel (t • c •

Bot request for Dutch Minecraft Wiki
Recently I updated the template BlockSprite on the Dutch Minecraft Wiki to use Dutch sprite names instead of the English ones. Currently I have only deprecated the old English names, which resulted in a category with about 500 pages in it. All those pages, as you might've guessed already, are using the old names.
My request is thus as follows: can your bot replace all the old sprite names from the template BlockSprite on the pages in the category mentioned above with the new names? If possible, could you make it so that sprite names are replaced in templates first (like Blocks, Items, etc.), followed by pages? I don't really care how fast it's done or when; even with ten pages a day I'm fine.
Thanks in advance! --DarkShadowTNT NL Admin (t ♦ c) 13:57, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
P.S.: all the links in the post are linking to the Dutch Minecraft Wiki.
- The code I've written before to substitute sprite names only works for cases of basic sprite/link templates, but if you want to try it feel free (see here). I admittedly have not been very active lately so not sure when I would have time to do it myself. –KnightMiner 00:45, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
Need some help with the advancements template.
Alright, I've been trying to get this done all morning, but unfortunately, I have given up and will need your help. All I'm trying to do is to remove the "Prerequisites" portion from the template, while also trying to remove a tiny portion of blank space that is shown on the template itself. -BDJP (t|c) 15:38, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
- Do we not want a "prerequisites" column? I know that the parent advancement isn't required, whereas the parent achievement is .. but could we just call it "parent" or something, and still use it? – Sealbudsman talk/contr 16:29, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
- You still have most of the code labeled "Prerequisites" left in there. I can fix it, but I do agree with Sealbudsman that a parent field might be useful, especially since a lot of the other columns of
{{achievement}}no longer exist. –KnightMiner 16:48, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Bot Request for the Rewrite for Style Project
Hello, the Rewrite for Style project has recently completed the Environment section, and we are now waiting for the bot to remove the Rewritten environment category. Thank you in advance. Superspace (talk) 01:03, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
