Dude...[]

Maybe instead of using your user page as a forum for your private server, you should actually CONTRIBUTE to the wiki. --Saphireking65 19:37, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Protip: Deleting people's comments is considered rude. --Saphireking65 19:26, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

I know but you arent one of us.

A polite notice[]

Hey guys, the way that you are currently this user talk page goes against the spirit of collaborating on wiki for minecraft. There are plenty of places where you can host free forums/wikis for your community, so I suggest that you do that instead, rather than using MCWiki.--Kerotan 18:55, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

I would have to agree, and at this point, I am posting an administrative notice to you that the content of this talk page is going to be moved to a subpage of your userspace. Talk pages are for the wiki community to contact you to discuss whatever... not for static posting of server information. Thanks! -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 01:49, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
Well, even if it's moved to a subpage, he should still not be allowed to upkeep the page without contributing to the wiki. This is a place to put accurate information about Minecraft, not a specific server.--Saphireking65 14:46, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
The moment you force users to contribute is the moment you lose the entire community. We are not going to dictate how users spend their days. Not only is this morally and ethically wrong, it is IMPOSSIBLE to do. If he wishes to contribute, so be it. But we shall not, under ANY circumstances, force users to contribute against their will. --Kizzycocoa 14:49, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Thanks mate.

Just to be clear here, the Minecraft wiki is here to support ALL members of the Minecraft community. If they wish to maintain information regarding their server in userspace, that is perfectly acceptable, and they should be encouraged and welcomed (in whatever capacity they choose to participate). I am just trying to keep the page purposes clearly defined, Mainspace is for game documentation, talk pages in mainspace are for discussion of the associated article, User space is for profiling yourself for the community, and providing personal use space with user talk pages being for community contact/feedback. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig icon talk 19:30, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Sorry didn't know. Thanks for underlining it.
