I haven't play PC version a lot, as I know, PC version doesn't have that feature where you can dye the Shulker mob shell just by right clicking it with dyes instead of using commands. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 00:16, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

List of mobs & Platform availability[]

Hello. I am a Japanese-language user Beans1512. I appreciate it.

About Mob's List of mobs and Platform availability, should I add Education Edition's Mob (NPC and Learn to Code Mascot)?--{{User:Beans1512/Sign}} 08:13, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

You must post this suggestion on Community Talk page, not me. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 08:32, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
Added.--{{User:Beans1512/Sign}} 08:41, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
Also, although it has nothing to do with it at all, I would appreciate it if you upload an image of the face of Learn to Code Mascot.--{{User:Beans1512/Sign}} 10:30, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
It has already existed, it was written: Learn to Code MascotItsPlantseed|⟩ 10:59, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
I'm sorry. My way of saying was bad. In other words, It means "Please upload Learn to Code Mascot version of File:CowFace.png."--{{User:Beans1512/Sign}} 11:11, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
 Done, here you go. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 11:31, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
THX.:) I upload the image of NPC's face from me. I'm sorry really to talk irrelevant from the previous time, can you tell me your Sprite this time? Will not you be my friend? That way, I am truly happy.--{{User:Beans1512/Sign}} 11:47, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

No need to sorry, that's fine. Also, here is my Sprite, and you can be my friend :). – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 12:10, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

THX!!!:) I will upload that image. Thank you for responding to my expectations.--{{User:Beans1512/Sign}} 12:20, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

Entity ids[]

Hi, where did you get the entity IDs you used for that section? I was in the middle of doing it, and looking at what you have, you have a lot of different values. – Sealbudsman talk/contr 03:30, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

It appears to be the summon name, though I don't see where you got the names for unsummonables like wither_skull_dangerous, etc. And they differs from the names given in jocoba3's list: https://gist.github.com/jocopa3/f8c9f9158ede0e9d057781188ba440f5. Could you illuminate? : ) – Sealbudsman talk/contr 03:37, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
Well, I got that from the behavior pack. It's all the same as the summon command does. But I see a little differ in that list, for example the polar bear must be written "polar_bear" not "polarbear" while summoning. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 03:58, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
Nice. Do you or Jocopa3 happen to know whether the old name IDs like polarbear, which are evident in Jocopa3's file, have any significance anymore, or put another way, would they no longer be used by anyone, practically speaking? I want to be sure that now that we've changed all the info boxes, nothing useful is lost. – Sealbudsman talk/contr 14:52, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
I would say no, maybe yes. But I think it no longer have any uses for the gameplay or game modification. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 10:57, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

The game still tracks both versions internally and in behavior files, though it seems they're not the same thing. In 1.1, the game uses polar_bear as the entity ID, and the entity ID is what's is used with /summon and in other instances where you need a specific entity's Id. polarbear is used in behavior files as an entity family name; family names are ways of grouping similar entities so they can be treated similarly. Seems like most entities are a part of their own family, but can also be part of other families as well; ex: the zombie horse is a part of the zombiehorse and undead families. Re:Bed render[]

I'm working on it right now :P Oakar567 (talk) 12:50, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

Parrots and seeds[]

Hi, I may be doing it wrong, but after seeing you make history entries about Parrots using seeds, I tried it myself, and couldn't find how to use seeds on Parrots. Would you be able to explain? – Sealbudsman talk/contr 11:51, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Sorry for that change! It turns out I was wrong, I misremembered the seeds. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 13:49, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

1.12 template[]

These templates are for the following situation: Let's say Mojang doesn't release 1.12, but instead jumps to 1.12.1. They've done stuff like that before. 1.7.2 and so on. In that case, we just set the template to value 1.12.1, and everything quickly works out. At the very end, someone then uses a bot to replace that template with a hard value, and deletes the template. – Sealbudsman talk/contr 12:20, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the info, now I see what's going on there. Sorry beforehand if I interrupted your edit, I should have asked you first. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 12:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
No problem -- I don't remember you or anyone interrupting my edits, or anything requiring my asking -- I may have forgotten : ) – Sealbudsman talk/contr 17:04, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

Status query of Skin/Skin pack[]

Hi, ItsPlantseed. I was noticing this subpage is linked (even linked from templates!) and has redirects like any ordinary article would. My wiki background is mainly at Wikipedia, where subpages aren't allowed as main space articles. I guess they're not forbidden here, but I don't see any advantage to the practice. You seem to be the current principle editor; do you know why it's a subpage? Is it because it's still tagged as Work in Prograss/Need Help (by Bbob1937 since October 2016)? Shouldn't it be moved to its own page, even so, since it's linked like a main page anyway, or is there some advantage to keeping it a subpage, either for now or permanently (though it seems to me that just complicates the wiki structure unnecessarily)? I'd be willing to take on the task of moving it and fixing all the links and redirects if you think that's appropriate. If you don't, what needs to be done before it would be? I might consider taking on the task. – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 15:32, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

The page was a subpage when I started to contribute the page. Same like Texture pack/DLC, and Resource pack/Mash-up pack, then I thought it'd be the best to keep it as a subpage. But now it's a very long page, and will increase any time, so I think moving it to its own page is a better action for this situation. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 01:10, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
Actually, I'm going to renege on my offer to move it. I started cleaning up Resource pack/Mash-up pack, which is formatted exactly like it. A lot of the text needs to be deleted (some is history and belongs in the History section, and some is pricing that's already in the infobox), but if I delete it the page ends up as a bunch of tiny one-sentence sections that are mostly whitespace because of the infoboxes and images. It's ugly, and I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet so I'm not eager to more than double my problem. Thanks for the explanation, though. – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 01:34, 10 June 2017 (UTC)

Broken reflinks[]

Article template[]

Can you please add an optional date to the {{article}} page? {{#if: {{{3}}} |, {{{3}}} }}. There are too many curly brackets I don't quite know where to add it in. Thanks – NixinovaBook and Quill JE2 BE2.png Diamond Pickaxe JE3 BE3.png Map (item) JE2 BE2.png • 04:19, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

Added, everything should work normally now. Also I changed the parameter, you need to enter {{{ext=URL}}} rather than {{{ext=1|URL}}}. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 06:26, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

Pe data values[]

Just double checking, and because I'm curious, how did you get the pocket edition data values for this edit? – Sealbudsman talk/contr 14:43, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

Oh yeah, I'm using third party software to see the values (e.g. PocketInvEditor), well since I don't have a direct access to them. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 22:58, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

About other 10 NPCs variant renders request[]

Hello ItsPlantseed.. what exactly do you mean by this request on Minecraft Wiki:Community portal? – Oakar567 (talk) 09:53, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

There are 10 new scientist skins for the NPCs added long time ago. You can check the main game files for the skins. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 10:06, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

Fence gate texture[]

Hey! The fence gate texture you create recently is the newest texture from 1.14? 09:14, 12 May 2019 (UTC) – Oromis

No, but it'll be updated to the newest texture soon enough. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 13:04, 18 May 2019 (UTC)

Real as default in pt:Template:Price[]

How can I leave the real or the euro as the default?--Eduaddad (talk) 18:42, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

You need to set #default before the pipe bar that defines the real. But looks like it's already been done. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 08:45, 30 June 2019 (UTC)

MCD Item Spritesheet[]

Sorry, but it doesn't look like your spritesheet is working for me.

As you can see, the icons are offset, halving or quartering the sprites. In my examples, the Axe is the top half of a Totem of Regeneration, and the Claymore appears to be the northwestern quarter of a Totem of Shielding. The Sword is the northeastern quadrant of the unknown sprite icon, and the Last Laugh is a quarter of an apple. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience, but I think we can both agree that fixing this error would be the best solution. Oreli (talk) 18:13, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Oh sorry I forgot to mention this! The sprite requires some special stylings to be added to MediaWiki:Gadget-site-styles.css, since I have no permission, I have asked to admin about this on the Official Minecraft Wiki Discord. So it will appear broken for the meantime until the change had been applied. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 18:18, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
Ah, alright. Thank you. Oreli (talk) 18:29, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Why removal of "Music to my ears"?[]

On 2020-03-10 you removed the Music to my ears Achievement, see https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=Achievement&diff=next&oldid=1518528. Do you remember why you did that, and what was the source for removing that achievement?

Note that I'm not arguing the removal, I'm just curious on the reasoning why Mojang removed it from the game. Haven't found any changelog describing it, so far. Holroy talkcontribs 14:24, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

Because that page no longer lists achievements from the Legacy Console Edition, also you can still find the achievement here. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 15:12, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

I have no idea how to make those modules from the DuItemLink for example. But as you made them i think you know how. The enchantments have icons in-game, so i think it would be good to add a DuEnchantLink or something like that. --HNaledi123 (talk) 06:29, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

Created the template. You can move or make Template:DungeonsEnchantmentLink as a redirect if you think that "DuEnchantmentLink" is too long. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 05:39, 27 August 2020 (UTC)

Are you still using this image? If not, I suggest deleting it. If yes, then use it. ~DΦC (talk) 01:52, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

It's used on one of my stylesheet, hence there is no direct usage of it. I'm not sure why do you feel the need of deleting it, I've appended user images category to exclude it from being a stray image. I suppose I could add a notice box if it wasn't enough. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 12:19, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

You linked a video with all the sidebar changes, how do you do that? Humiebeetalk contribs 21:20, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

I tested it on a test wiki, you'd need to create your own to try the changes. Also the discussion is now moved to MCT:CP in the "Navigation on FandomDesktop" section instead of admin noticeboard. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 21:31, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

Minecraft Earth textures[]

Hey, from some of the files you've uploaded, I suspect you've managed to extract mob textures out of Minecraft Earth to use for your renders, (as opposed to recreating them) Is that the case? If so, could you tell me how to extract the textures? I need them for a small resource pack that I'm making for me and my friend to use. :) 17:45, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

This link was once accessible to obtain the resources for Minecraft Earth, but I've uploaded the file for you here (extract files from genoa.mcpack). – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 18:29, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
Thank you so much! There seriously aren't enough words to express how grateful I am :) 22:47, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
