Ideas[]
I have no idea if any of these are possible or plausible.
- Redstone Track Switches
- There woud be a track that forms when you have a straight section of track for 3 or more blocks, and you place a track piece next to a piece of the straightaway that has track in front and behind it.
- This new-formed track could be switched between acting like a curve or straight track baced on weither or not power is being fed to it's vacant side
- Tree Mode
The idea is simple. It is a world of chunks comprised entirely of tree parts.
- Trees are placed in such a way that all land is covered. Trees retain their normal lowest-leaf-level, but are always Great Trees, and grow up from their base at least 24 blocks, with branches.
- The only thing to stop this is water.
- Trees ignore the fact that darkness will most likely be absolute in their bottom leaf-layers.
- You start in a 5x5 open space surrounded on all sides by tree-trunks and leaves. Two torches are placed on opposing walls, mirroring each other.
- You start 20+ meters above surface-level, but 10+ meters down from canopy.
- The top of the world is similar to the top of a tree canopy.
- Biomes will be delineated by tree species changes.
- File-Based Records
- Make records retrieve data from mp3s.
- Minecraft Grid Editor
- I don't know if this exists, but creating a program that lets you edit, a chunk at a time, World saves in minecraft. It would show you all the layers on one side bar, and the main window would comprise of a top-view grid of only that specific level. - You would drag or click on blocks at a block-by block basis; or make a mouse-box or ctrl-click to select many blocks at a time. This would allow you to place blocks with great speed (ref. FRIGGIN OBSIDION).
- Redwoods
- Redwoods are trees that will have reddish wood. They would grow near water or in wet dirt.
- They have a basic trunk of 2x2 blocks wide. They will be at least 12+ blocks high. They will grow leaves and branches. They will do this at 8+ blocks up.
