Are you sure this information is 100% factual, in both Java and Bedrock editions? You've stirred up quite a lot of... "discussion" off-wiki by a prominent person. – Nixinova Nixinova sig1.png Nixinova sig2.png 04:23, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

According to Docm77 and Ilmango these are the spawning mechanics for the traders at least as far as Java edition is concerned. After 24000 ticks the game will attempt to spawn a trader in with an initial chance of 2.5%, if it fails it will try again after 1200 ticks with a 5% chance of success, should it fail again, it will then try again after another 1200 ticks at which this point the percentage chances will cap at 7.5%. After 48000 ticks the trader will despawn. Now I am unable to actually check the code myself nor do I know anyone who could, but would either of these two YouTubers be considered a reliable source? If this information is from doc and ilmango that should be correct. Although it does contradict with what Antvenom was saying. Also, you may want to watch the next video he puts out... you might get a mention. – Nixinova Nixinova sig1.png Nixinova sig2.png 05:54, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
Alright thanks for telling me. Also do you know if the traders naturally spawn with their llamas attached with leads in the Java edition? Esperenderman (talk) 08:38, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
