Admin noticeboard discussionHello. There is currently a discussion involving you at [1] regarding your implementation of personal rules created by you on several user talk pages, including mine. Thank you. TL;DR: You've just crossed the line! |
User page
I think your userpage is broken. Seriously, when I clicked on "show", a bunch of red links appeared. --

- Yes it is. I used to use a special quirk involving pages with .css or .js extensions to make my user page's content protected from most other users. After Dinoguy1000 moved that setup from User:Naista2002/* (my former nickname), I forgot to update the main page which transcludes all sections. And transclusion of non-existing pages gives a red link, like in case of normal links. I don't care about that user page that much anymore. —

Alpha version history talk page edit
This edit to Talk:Version history/Alpha was completely inappropriate and out of line, which is why I reverted it. It's fine if you disagree that comments in discussions should have newlines separating them, and even if you remove the newlines in a conversation when replying to it, but removing them from discussions you don't participate in, and attempting to enforce your preference when a preference is all it is, is unacceptable. If you do this again, you may be blocked. 「ディノ奴千?!」? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 09:03, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
- Blame Ivan-r, a Russian wiki admin. I used to make that split, but not the rest of Russian wiki users, and Ivan-r once even removed my split (with reason as You strangely make indentations), and I had the formatting to change. Plus a slight obsession with consistency led into that. — Agent NickTheRed37 (talk) 18:20, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
- Ouh, Dinoguy1000, it is actually aesthetically bad in the code. With the breaks between messages at ≥1 and ≥2 indentation levels, it may just hurt one’s eye. Adding breaks between separately-indented paragraphs in a message also looks bad. — Agent NickTheRed37 (talk) 18:27, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
- Aesthetics are subjective. I personally am well-accustomed to a blank newline between comments in discussions, even when the nesting level gets quite deep; in my experience, this is the predominant style on Wikipedia. This debate is little different to such things as the tabs-versus-spaces holy war that's been going on for decades. 「ディノ奴千?!」? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:09, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

- Hello, but... is just saying hello worth to be done on a talk page? You can use profile comments. Also, fix your nickname in signature. — Agent NickTheRed37 (talk) 15:15, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
I thought bots were not allowed!!!???
If you can have one, it's okay, but ain't bots not allowed??? ROBINHOODN64 (talk) 17:55, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- Yo bot ain't even doin' aneethin. ROBINHOODN64 (talk) 19:35, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- Where did you get the idea that bots are not allowed? If it were not allowed, wouldn't the bot be blocked by now, or otherwise not have been tagged as a bot? Having a bot is allowed provided you get the account tagged by a bureaucrat and are a generally trustworthy user. –KnightMiner t/c 03:02, 30 March 2016 (UTC)

- First of all, be calm when talking. Secondly, I haven’t found anything in this wiki’s rules page regarding bots. Can you link us to the “rules page” mentioned by you? — Agent NickTheRed37 (talk) 13:54, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
- I got mixed up with another wiki. ROBINHOODN64 (talk) 16:21, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
