Templates in signature[]
Just a note, your signature should not contain templates, unless they are substituted. See the rules. --KnightMiner (t|c) 15:42, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- The signature editor did automatically substitute the template. The signature entry has . Also, it does fit into the character limit of 250 characters.
- P.S. I may need to change my Russian signature due to this.
- --Naista2002 (t c) 16:23, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- The Russian template is requested for deletion, while I've designed a navigation template for talk pages...

- I'm refering to your use of
ItemLink,EntityLink--KnightMiner (t|c) 17:39, 5 September 2014 (UTC)- Okay, I shall change the signature like I did with the Russian one.
- But I still have checked the size of the signature template page. It is <250 even with the category setting.
- -
- By the way, I discussed my Russian signature with a Russian contributor by the name of Dand0 and I found out that the rule about using templates in signatures doesn't exist in the Russian wiki.
- There is the Dand0's quote from a Russian talk page, translated by myself:
- I'm refering to your use of

- Yeah, I did check the russian wiki's rules, and they are somewhat different than here, so that signature would be fine on the Russian version. The main reason we have that rule here is to prevent some issues with template caching, since signatures get used a lot more than most templates. --KnightMiner (t|c) 16:43, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
- Note that I first made an edit in this, English, wiki, despite me being Russian. --Regards, Naista2002 (RU T C) 17:04, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

How to add an interwiki to a talk page?[]
Sorry if I made unnecessary edits to this page, but I want to know how to add an interwiki to a talk page.

Redirect links[]
Hi Naista, I've noticed that your bot is correcting redirect links, however I would just like to point out a part of the style guide you may not have noticed.
"Linking to a redirect is preferred over using a piped link except in templates and other pages that will be transcluded. When a piped link is unavoidable, it should not point to a redirect. If a redirect can be avoided using a suffix on the link, that is preferred. E.g. Using Creepers instead of Creepers is desired."
As was discussed here, simply bypassing a redirect causes wikitext clutter. Therefore, allowing names with two words to be redirected should be left as is. Also, your bot should not be redirecting to disambiguation pages. –Goandgoo ᐸ Talk

- If it is still going to be a redirect to the same page, there is really no need to add a display name. Poppies is sufficient. –KnightMiner (t|c) 01:35, 19 October 2014 (UTC)

About rollback[]
Why did you import Majr's script, that let's give a rollback description, though you are not administrator? --Dand0 (talk) 15:16, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

- It's only transcluded pages where redirects actually have a negative effect. The style guide's wording is a bit strong in regards to piped links and using suffixes and is more talking about making new links. The ever so tiny extra perf you get from avoiding a redirect is void if you do an edit just to get rid of it, as that edit is way more expensive. Redirects should only be "improved" (I'm not going to say corrected, as redirects are perfectly correct) on non-transcluded pages while already making an edit to do something else. The style guide might need some better wording in that regard. I might even learn towards using redirects over suffixes,
Creepersis slightly more easier to read thanCreepers. –Majr ᐸ Talk

- @Majr: This edit would prove its worthiness over time. Some users would follow a new link, which makes less server load than a redirect. --Naista2002

- Thanks, but I'm not much active here. My homeland Russian wiki is in complete chaos, and I want to deal with that. I'm currently writing the style guide for that wiki, mainly together with a user named KhmelAW, who is present on Russian Wikia (mainly Sacred Wiki, from where I and that user took some style tips) as Кольт (Colt). --Nick the Red37 — ru.wiki moderator (talk) 15:27, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Spelling Error in Signature[]
Hello,
There is a slight spelling error in your signature: when hovering over your name it says "Formely known as Naista2002" instead of "Formerly known as Naista2002" :) -Sonicwave talk 05:31, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

I even emailed Majr to notify him of this message, but there is no response.
