Minecraft@Home (often abbreviated as MC@H) is a project that uses BOINC allowing users to volunteer the processing and data power of their idle computers to help in Minecraft-related research advancements. It also is an organization that aims to solve many different problems in Minecraft. These consist mainly of finding the original World Seed of an image of interest by primarily relying on images found in default Minecraft as the basis for searching. The organization works at current capacity of 5317 users that contribute to 5 different research areas. These include setting up their idle computers to run BONIC, help find the source of the Pack.png image, working with data-science for meta-study collaboration, data, and metrics analysis, help find the tallest cactus in Minecraft or development, the development of an API, Research Bot/s, and the official Minecraft@Home website.

Objectives[]
As of September 2020, the organization is currently working towards two projects, and two have already been declared successful. These including the search for the world seed of the panorama image found in the main menu title screen between Beta 1.8 and 1.12.2 full release, the default texture pack icon commonly known as 'pack.png' and the tallest cactus; the current record being held by a 22 block tall cactus.
Finished Projects[]
As of September 2020, the organization was working on three projects, one of which has been completed. One being the search for the world seed of the panorama image found in the main menu title screen between Beta 1.8 and 1.12.2 full release. The seed was discovered on July 18th, 2020. The seed for the panorama was found to be 2151901553968352745 or 8091867987493326313. Strangely, both of the seeds worked and displayed the area of the panorama, the coordinates of the location are X=61, Y=75, Z=-68, and the version requirements being Beta 1.7.3 or lower. The completion of the project has left a mark on Minecraft history. The seed of the panorama had been unknown for almost eight years, and thanks to the work of the community of MC@home, the seed was found. This feat is sure to leave an effect on the Minecraft community, displaying the perfect example of how if we come together as one, we can achieve wonders. The other is the famous pack.png seed! Which was found after about four days of copmuting power from thousands of computers into a program that would find the pack.png image seed after the last 5% of seeds.
