HEY HEY HEY DONT GO IN MY SHED!!!!
The 7.1.1 update will include:
World
Palm trees generate in beaches, and the trees have coconuts, a food that refills 3 and 1/2 drum sticks.
New ore: Titanium. Rare, but more common than diamonds. Tools in between iron and diamond.
Mushroom islands are slightly more common.
"Large biomes" allows you to set the scale, from .1 to 1000.
Lighting bugs fixed. LIGHTNING!?
The Void is actually a dimension now. Occasionally, in the Overworld, there will be a hole in the bedrock. If you fall below layer -64 in the Overworld, instead of dying, you will go to the The Void. In The Void, all that is there is a 3x3 platform of cobblestone at where you spawn, a "go back" block a few blocks up, and the occasional chest. You are in adventure mode when you go in. If you fall below -64 here, you die. The chests have iron, titanium, gold, diamonds, and sponges. If you fall in at -400, -64, 600, you would be at -1200, 72, 1800 in The Void. Too complicated for me.
Once in a while, coconuts will spawn, and you can eat them. They will fill your hunger bar no matter how full it is,and the potion effect Delicous will appear when you press "e".This will make your hunger bar full until it wears off.
Also, beer bottles spawn as a block, and when you right click them, you seem to drink it. You get the potion effect Drunk wich causes you to see everything double and for you to move randomly. It also makes your attacks 2x stronger. The effect wears of after 3 minutes. They fill up 4 1/2 drum sticks. They refill after 45 minutes, and you can destroy and place them anywhere, even in the air.
New Blocks/Items
There is now Iron Golem, Snow Golem, Wither and Ender Dragon Spawn Eggs
Apple pie added. Like pumpkin pie, but with an apple instead of a pumpkin. Bacon added. Pigs will drop 2-4 raw bacon when killed, and 2-4 cooked bacon when killed with fire. You can't eat raw bacon; though you can feed it to wolves. Cheese also added. Made by cooking milk in a furnace. You can only feed this to tamed wolves. Added snorkels. Made by putting water, wool, and cobblestone in a crafting table. It allows you to breathe in clouds for up to 10 milliseconds.
You can lock a chest by putting 1 obsidian in the crafting table with the chest.
Golden apple made with ingots. They do 10 seconds of regeneration 2, and they also do 1 minute of resistance.
New enchantments:
- Enchantment on bow where charging doesn't slow you down
- Enchantment on bow where arrows go further
- Enchantment on sword and tools where reach is extended
- Enchantment on sword that prevents 90% of damage when block ing
- Enchantment on sword that freezes mobs/players that were hit for 3 seconds
- Enchantment on shears that gives more wool when sheep are sheared
- Enchantment on shears that breaks wool, leaves etc. instantly
- Enchantment on tools, swords, and armor that treats it as if it was diamond (except for durability)
- Wither swords!
- The "Ultimate" enchantment on armor. It's extremely rare. If you have a full set, anyone who attacks you dies immediately.
Special block that can't be destroyed by anyone other than who placed it. Put 1 gold ingot and 1 titanium ingot in a crafting grid, and you get 8.
Nuke. Needs 9 TNT in a crafting grid, and has explosion force 10. Only works underground (to prevent griefing). Admins like Hower64 and Orthotope can use it against vandals.
Christmas trees added, with new types of wood and leaves. There is a 1 in 16 chance that a tree has a present. A present, when placed, is a chest with random items in it.
If you attack a player or a mob, but it hits the item being held instead of the body, the player or mob being hit takes 1/4 damage, and the item being held takes 1 durability damage for each half-heart normally taken. Going with the last thing mentioned, there are iron shields, made with 6 iron ingots each, and they cover the whole front of the body. It has 400 durability.
Potions of Reach added. 3 titanium makes 4 "extra long sticks", and the extra long stick is used as the potion ingredient. The extra long stick by itself acts as a reach of 6. A Potion of Reach increases reach from 4 to 5 blocks, and a Potion of Reach 2 increases reach from 4 to 6 blocks. If you use the extra long stick without the potion, it just does hand damage, which is why the Potion of Reach is useful.
Slime blocks have been added. They are crafted with 4 slimeballs. When you land on one, you bounce and take no fall damage.
Potion of Teleporting added. An Ender Pearl is used is the potion ingredient. When you have the potion effect, you can throw an ender pearl without using it. You still take the damage, though. Like regeneration potions, a basic Potion of Teleporting is 45 seconds, not 3 minutes.
Added an Iron Block Block, crafted with 9 Iron Blocks. They are indestructible to all explosions except Withers. (They can still be broken by players.) 8 Iron Block Blocks can be put in a 2x2x2 cube in the world and anyone on top of it is invincible (to damage, but can still be knocked off).
Creepers have a rare drop of Creeper Dust. Creeper Dust can be placed to attract a creeper, although multiple pieces are needed for a big effect. Right-clicking a player with Creeper Dust will have the creeper hiss effect (just sound) on that player, and it will use the Creeper Dust. 9 Creeper Dust can be made into a block that explodes (damages entities only, not blocks) when anyone gets close to it, except its maker takes no damage.
Added wands. They are crafted like a gold shovel except it uses Extra Long Sticks (mentioned earlier). It has 30 durability. When you hold right-click while holding a wand, it will put the cursor on what it's pointing at if it's within 40 blocks. Then pressing 1 will do 3 hearts of damage to it (entities), 2 will heal it 3 hearts (entities), 3 will lift it (blocks and mobs, not players), 4 will teleport you to it (anything), and 5 will teleport it to you (entities). You can only use it once every 2 minutes. Enchantments allow you to use it faster, change more than 3 hearts, and make it last longer (Unbreaking, like everything else).
Automatic Right-Clicker: Automatically right-clicks the next block in front of it that's not air. You can put an item in it, and it will right-click as if the item in it was being held.
New Uses for Existing Blocks/Items
Iron/gold/diamond/emerald blocks, Bricks and stone bricks are not broken by creepers, but they are broken by stronger explosions. The ore blocks aren't broken by TNT.
Villagers can trade villager, pig, cow, chicken, and sheep spawn eggs.
Levels of sponges. Turn yellower if they become cooler, though this doesn't affect gameplay at all. Order of levels (in the code, can't be seen anywhere else): Lame, Fine, Okay, Nice, Good, Fun, Awesome, Excellent, Accelerated, DHidhiIHIHDIhi5ege6.
Bedrock can look like any block (not in a normal survival world); 7 with damage value 12 would look like sand.
Similar with monster egg, 97 with damage value 12 would be a silverfish block that looks like sand.
Potions with the same damage value, mushroom stew, boats, and minecarts stack.
A clock can be placed, and it acts as a redstone clock, adjustable from 1 tick each on and off to 10 each on and off.
New Mobs
Passive penguins that spawn in biomes that snow. They drop snow blocks when killed.
New boss: Giant Spider. It acts like a 4x2x4 cave spider (poison IV), and they spawn in mineshaft center rooms. They can also shoot poison as a ranged attack. They have 100 hearts and drop a poison IV potion when killed.
Passive robins. They lay eggs like chickens. Killing a robin yields 3-5 feathers, but it's hard since they fly.
Passive deer. They are HUGE and drop deer meat when killed.
Added a new mob called Lhurgoyf. It's green, and its power depends on how many mobs have died. NOTE: This is a reference to something.
new mob baby does nothing so far
Cobwebs drop from 1 in 4 cave spiders.
Spiders have a rare drop of a 1 minute potion of speed, and a 11 second splash potion of poison.
Added fish as a mob! They are like squid. They drop 0-2 raw fish when killed, with 1 being more likely. If you catch one with a fishing rod, you get 0-4 fish instead, with 2 being more likely.
Bats have a 1 in 8 chance of dropping baseball bats, which acts as an iron sword with up to 51 durability, and can deflect arrows and splash potions.
1 in 40 spiders below layer 20 are cave spiders in normal difficulty. That "40" changes depending on the difficulty.
Cave spiders, ghasts, and endermen drop 10 experience instead of 5.
Added Ender Slimes. Ender Slimes are black slimes that come in 3 sizes, just like regular slimes. When they land on a block, they destroy it if it can be mined by hand. They deal the same damage as a magma cube, but unlike a magma cube, they don't have any armor. They only spawn in The End. Small ones drop 0-2 slimeballs, and medium and large ones drop 0-1 ender pearl.
Add EnderWither, a teleporting, glowing wither. They don't spawn naturally.
Add scorpion, only appears in deserts, and semi-rarely. They don't attack until you attack them, and they don't spawn on peaceful. They attack like zombies.
Added Tesseract Slimes. They come in 4 sizes: .5x.5x.5x.5, 1x1x1x1, 2x2x2x2, and 3x3x3x3. Tesseract Slimes have 4-dimensional bodies. Other than that, they behave like normal slimes.
Chat
"/gamerule pvp" to turn pvp on and off.
Chat and signs can use §.
Swears are censored in chat. So are the words "192.168", "Herobrine", "javascript", "facebook", "idiot", "stupid", "/time" (in chat), "/give" (same), "hate", "swastika", "YOLO", and "gay".
When typing "/kill example12345", if you're an op, it will say "Not bukkit", but won't do anything else. If you're not op, it will kick you, and when you join again, you will find yourself dead, and your home bed missing or obstructed.
- However, doing "
/kill <name of process>" kills the process as if it was Unix.
Doing /slap works exactly as it does on IRC.
Right-clicking a player will show his health points in the chat screen.
If you mix up "it's" and "its", the game will know, and it will correct it. You'll also take half a heart of damage.
Other
If you have 50 or more experience levels, you have 12 hearts instead of 10.
New difficulty: Very Hard. It is difficulty 4. Hardcore is decided by you at difficulty 3 or 4 or 5 (see below) when you generate the world. Very Hard has a 22.5 second poison from cave spiders, lots more damage from mobs, and creepers have explosion power 5 instead of 3. Any hostile mob can break down wooden doors.
Another new difficulty: Super Hardcore. It is difficulty 5. When generating a Hardcore world, you have the option of choosing Normal Hardcore, Very Hard (see above) or SUPER HARDCORE. Super Hardcore has a 30 second poison from cave spiders (along with a 10 second Withering effect), huge amounts of damage from mobs, creepers have explosion power 10 instead of 5, and any entity can hurt you. Any entity can break down wooden and iron doors (including projectiles).
There is now a Mods bar on the menu screen. You can turn them on and off. Mods are disabled in hardcore, very hard (see above) and super hardcore (see above).
Score has been improved:
- Typing
/scoregives you your score. - You get 1 point for 1 xp.
- Defeating a Wither gives you 2000 xp points.
- Defeating a Ender Dragon gives you 10000 xp points.
- Every 1000 xp points, it displays "x points".
- Score is multiplied by .6+.2x, where x is the difficulty. Extreme multiplies it by 3, not 20.6.
- Hardcore multiplies it by 3.
- Very Hard (see above) multiplies it by 4.
- Super Hardcore (seee above) multiplies it by 5.
Pressing Q while holding shift will throw the item (in item form), so you can pass diamonds to your friend 30 blocks away.
These will Never Really Happen
Villagers will be renamed Squidwards and will be colored blue.
Added more mobs. They are: Death (Spawns with a Hoe and atacks you), Slime.2 (a robotic Slime) and Chel (from Portal and Portal 2). Every one of them have a Spawn Egg that is red due to a bug.
11 new music discs: Never Gonna Give You Up, Yellow Submarine, What Makes You Beautiful, Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Nyan Cat, The Duck Song, Yesterday, Call Me Maybe, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, Still Alive (from Portal), and Friday (By Rebecca Black)
New command: /rickroll, it changes the music to rickroll music. Do "/rickroll example_player" to rickroll example_player (ops only), and do "/rickroll @a" to rickroll everybody.
Added Boss Mob: GLaDOS. Not much is known about GLaDOS, as it doesn't spawn naturally.
You can pay $13.37 to get 20% increased speed for 6 months.
- You can pay $42 to get double jump for 6 months.
- You can pay $100 to get 1 share in the company.
- You can pay $255.65 to own an IP address.
- You can pay over $9000 to get a "super cape". Super capes make you invincible.
- On servers, these only work on those that allow it.
Doing "/difficulty x" does different things for different values of x. Here are the things found:
- Integer 0 to 5: Peaceful to Extreme Hardcore, as expected.
- Negative number: "Number must be at least 0".
- Non-integer 0 to 4: In between difficulties.
- Any power of 2 above 4: Displays "x is a power of 2" to everyone.
- 5: Kicks with "404 not found". It crashes if it's single player.
- 8: Gives the normal "power of 2" message, unless it's after 4 (single player only), in which case you get poisoned for 1 minute. Unknown what happens if you type 15 (LOST) or 16 (powers of 2) next.
- 9 3/4: Gives you a stick, and tells you it's a wand. Type it as 9.75
- 22: Plays a random music disk from the 22 music disks
- 28: Rickrolls you.
- 42: Says "This is not the end." If you're in the end, it sends you back to The Overworld at your bed/spawn point.
- 100: Extreme difficulty. Any mob hit will kill you, unless you are wearing extremely good enchanted armor. (Exactly like 0-4, but the fact that the number is huge makes it almost impossible.)
- 360: Spins you around.
- 404: Kicks with "5 not found". If it's single player, it says "meow".
- 666: Bans for 666 seconds (1 hour, 1 minute, 6 seconds) with "Banned for 666 seconds: Too evil."
- 1337: 20% increased speed for 20 seconds.
- Anything from 1970 to 2038: Says "x years ago" or "in x years". 2013 says "Now".
- 9001-25564 (over 9000) Blows player up for no apparent reason. Plans to be updated in version 9.9.9.9.9.9
- 25565: Sends you to a random server. If you're not whitelisted on the chosen server or you're not online, it will give "Error: Not allowed".
- Any number above 32767: Kicks with "Error: Overflow".
- Your XP level, if it's 5 or greater, says "XP".
- Typing "x" says "X is just an example!"
- Typing "i" kicks you with "Nonreal answer".
- Anything else says "Wrong number", or "Not a number" if it isn't a number.
- Typing 4 sets it to very hard. Then it poisons you until you type 15 (or after a minute). Then 15 puts 15 blazes in front of you. Then 16 raises you 16 blocks after 16 seconds. Then 23 deals 23 half-hearts of damage to you. Only armor enchantments reduce this. Then 42 gives you 42 diamond blocks. If you take more than a minute, it stops.
There are 9 3/4 types of tamed cats now. The new ones are tabby cat, pink panther, lolcat, nyan cat, music disc cat, cat with dog ears, 7/10 unix cat, and the very rare 1/20 invincible cat.
On April 1st, 2014, it is planned for the Minecraft Wiki main page to be unprotected as an April Fools joke.
If a Minecraft Wiki admin adds something to a Minecraft Wiki article, it becomes true next update, if it doesn't get removed first.

[!!] Typing "/difficulty 5" will crash the game in single player. If it's on a server, it disconnects with "Error: 404 not found" and 20% of other players with no reason. Humorously, if you type "/difficulty 404", it disconnects you with "5 not found" (not a crash).
