The game begins when the player spawns into the world. The generation of the world is determined by a seed, which determines the height map and biome placement within the world. Movement up and down is done with Space and ⇧ Shift respectively, movement forwards and backwards is done with W and S repectively, movement left and right is done with A and D respectively, and movement ana and kata (the 4-dimensional additional directions) is done by scrolling upwards and downwards respectively with the mouse wheel. The inventory is in a unique hexagonal shape, and there are only 8 hotbar slots, only accessible with the number keys 1 through 8.

The inventory also includes a crafting grid of 3 hexagons on the right side. It will also show the recipes automatically. There is nothing resembling a crafting table in the game.

The game includes many passive 4D mobs, such as the butterfly, and a few aggressive 4D mobs, such as the hyperspider. The hyperspider drops hypersilk on death, and has a small chance of dropping a health potion instead. The potion can be drank in order to refill one's health bar.

The game itself often starts when the player punches leaves, which often drop sticks, which can be used for digging purposes and will deal damage to mobs. The leaves generate on Midnight trees in the Midnight biome and on Oak trees in the Grassy Hills biome. The sticks dropped by the leaves often fall into the fourth dimension as well, so one will need to scroll a little to find item drops outside of the current 3D slice of the 4D world. After this, they are supposed to fight hyperspiders with the stick, which will attack from all four dimensions. This gives them hypersilk, which is useful to craft the next tool, the hammer. The stick can only attack and break dirt, all grass, and leaf blocks.

There is a 50% chance for a rock to be dropped when a grass or dirt block is mined. This, when combined with hypersilk as the string and a stick will create the hammer once crafted. The hammer can break more blocks such as iron ore and can deal more damage than a simple stick.
