A cut-away view for a single section of my sand lock.
Place the sand blocks against the X-marked block to activate the section.
The F-marked block represents the floor level.
The S-marked water block is the water source.
The M-marked block is where the last piece of sand must be to trigger the output.
The R-marked block is a secondary input to reset the system.
The O-marked block is the output.
The W-marked sign is the "overflow output", attached to a chain of signs to block the output on the far end.
Iron Bars are for allowing some sand items to fall through; they are not necessary.
