TNT is an explosive in Minecraft. Using that, Water and Redstone can be a deadly combination. These cannons can be designed in different ways. Some are made for long range needs, and there are some that can shoot in multiple directions, such as this one:Tutorial by TheWarlemming
There also other entities in Minecraft that can be propelled by TNT as such arrows that are attached to one of the projectile TNT, which can rain arrows down on the fields, or even arrows that are attached to the booster TNT itself. The latter can be used to propel multiple arrows at a target, and has several advantage over the dispenser/arrow turret traps. This includes propelling several arrows at the same time without large scale redstone circuitries and a large number of dispensers. However, it can be expensive due to the cost of TNT, can be dangerous if executed incorrectly, and needs manual loading after every salvo.
