an underwater temple
If the player is not ready, the underwater temple is difficult to conquer, and with some strategy and equipment, they can be easily conquered.
Find an underwater temple
Undersea temples will only be found in deep sea biomes, so it's hard to get there. You can find it using Ocean Explorer Map sold by Cartographer Villager.
Cartographers sell Ocean Explorer maps for 13 emeralds and 1 compass.
You can also use [command]]/locate structure monument (cheating needs to be turned on) to locate the underwater temple.
Find the deep sea
In general, you need to explore.
- Make a Map in the center of Nether Portal in Nether and expand it to the maximum size. This covers areas 2048×2048 in the Nether, corresponding to areas 16384 ×16384 in the Overworld.
- Select a direction in the Nether and walk about 128 blocks (8 pixels on the map) in each direction.
- Build a portal wherever you are and open the map with the largest size at your new portal.
- You can build portals throughout the Nether Map. Each portal should be 16 pixels apart. This gives you 64 portals. If you find that the water is estimated to be deeper than 15 squares, stop.
Find the temple
Undersea temples spawn randomly in the deep sea biome.
On the map, if there is a small dot on the side of the map, it means that you are far away from the temple, and the smaller the dot, the farther away.
So if you trade with villagers on the edge of the ocean, you may be closer to the underwater temple.
Managing portals at sea
What if a portal spawns in the middle of the deep sea? First, place sand or [grit]] next to the portal (unless your portal is on an island). You'll need these things:
- One Map (centered on the portal, covering the largest area)
- A ship
- 6 bottles Night Vision Potion
- At least one carrot
- A hoe
- 10 pieces Obsidian
- Flint or Flame Bomb
Do the following:
- Find out which direction you are coming from Nether. You are going in the opposite direction.
- Whichever direction you're going, drop the boat. Face the direction you want to go.
- Don't put a map on the shortcut bar, drink a bottle of night vision potion, so you can discover the underwater temple on the road and sail at night. When time runs out, drink another bottle. If you come to an island, walk along the sea.
- Once you find dry land, disembark and update your map. You can build a base.
How to see the temple
Undersea temples are deep underwater and difficult to spot. However, if you have a night vision effect (from the night vision potion), you can even see clearly with brightness of 0. Look for huge, blue, opaque outlines.
Equipment List
Things you may or will use when entering the underwater temple:
- Scuba potion (Required; Bring at least 4 bottles, preferably an extended version)
- Night Vision Potion (Optional, but useful; Bring at least 2 bottles, preferably an extended version)
- Splash Type Healing Potion (Optional, good for quick health recovery; Bring at least 3 bottles)
- Splash Type Regeneration Potion (Optional, but helpful when fighting Guardians and Ancient Guardians; Bring at least 1 bottle)
- Power Potion (Optional, but helpful when fighting Guardians and Ancient Guardians; Bring at least 2 bottles)

- Foods with high nutritional value, such as steak
- A diamondsword or Nether alloy sword with at least a Sharp I enchantment
- Bow (not very needed, as arrows become sluggish when they are shot underwater)
- [Diamond or [Nether Alloy Pick (Required, if you want to get [[[Gold Nuggets] in the temple and plan to dig when Dig Fatigue, you should have at least Enchanted Efficiency II)
- Milk bucket (optional, but can remove the digging fatigue effect)
- Axolotl Barrel (Optional, can fight alongside axolotls for health recovery and removal of digging fatigue)
- Sponge (optional, can create an emergency air pocket)
- 3 or more doors[Java Edition only]} (optional, useful for creating an air pocket and a short time shield)
- Billboard (Optional, place it on the wall to create air pockets when there is no oxygen and you happen to be near the wall.) But it is not available in versions 1.13 and above, as non-solid blocks do not produce air underwater. )
- Trident (Ranged attacks underwater, preferably with loyal enchantments.) But the Piercing Enchantment is most useful, and a Piercing] V's Trident can take out the Ancient Guardians very easily. )
- Magma Block or Soul Sand (optional, Bubble Column can be made to replenish oxygen)
- Surge Core (optional, if you want to continue exploring or modifying in the future, it is very important to continue to replenish oxygen for you, and you do not need to bring [Scuba potion on your next exploration)
- Hoe (optional, if you want to dig fatigue or quickly collect sponges, it is better to enchant efficiency)
- TNT (optional, blocks can be blown apart in the presence of digging fatigue, but must be drained or used closed)
- Redstone block (optional, ignite TNT, can also be replaced with flint)
Conquest of the Temple Under the Sea
Undersea temples are dangerous places with Guardians and [Ancient Guardians]]. Diamond or Nether Gear Solid, night vision/scuba potions, a trident, and food are a must, especially for hard difficulty. At any difficulty, entering the temple without wearing any equipment often results in a quick death. Because Guardians can spawn from outside, it can be difficult to enter the temple. Once inside the underwater temple, things become simpler; The limited space makes it difficult for the Guardians to aim at you. Good ways to enter the temple are:
- Ender Pearl
- Stealth Potion
- Deep Sea Explorer boots
- [[Underwater breathing (spell)|.] Template:Tr]] helmet
- Scuba potion
- Night Vision Potion
- Blast the top with [TNT]], but you need to suck up the water at the top (or place a TNT and then Sand on top, the sand drops down one block after the TNT is activated, so that the judgment will determine that TNT is no longer immersed in water, destroying the surrounding blocks)
An easy way to enter the underwater temple is to build a platform large enough on top of it to block the Guardian's beam. This is only possible when using the stealth potion, and once the platform is built, the ship will be fast enough to allow you to move between the base and the platform without any damage. Digging a hole in the middle of the platform, you can use TNT to blast the top of the temple and destroy the first Ancient Guardian at the same time. Although TNT can damage entities underwater, you need to use sand or gravel to cause TNT to cause damage to the structure. (Just make the sand or gravel block land on top of the TNT you just threw.) By the time the process is over, players can build a small base in the middle of the temple, which makes capturing the rest a little easier. TNT can also be used to eliminate the remaining Defenders, but this is risky as the player cannot escape fast enough to escape the blast radius in time.
There is another way to enter the temple. You can build a tunnel underwater with cobblestones (or blocks of your choice) and use ladders to remove water. Guardians can't attack through solid blocks, so you don't have to worry about the dangers of building a tunnel (and extending it to the temple). Once you reach the center of the temple, you build an area where you can breathe. It is recommended that you bring a diamond pickaxe with the right enchantment to dig for sea crystals (usually at least efficiency III, because even if you don't have the digging fatigue effect, digging sea crystals is still a huge undertaking) if you mess up the tunnel. It is recommended that you use as many cobblestones as possible to build the tunnel.
There's also a great way to get in, and once you know where the temple is, note the location and leave. Find the nearest island and dig in the direction of the temple. The tunnel travels underground, dug under the temple, and then digs the stairs upwards. This requires multiple trials, and you'll need to look for one of the 4×4 sea crystal towers beneath the temple. You're digging a 2×2 staircase into the middle of one of the towers. Above the bottom of the ocean, you just have to dig into the temple. You will be completely protected from attack, but you need milk to eliminate digging fatigue.
Once in the Undersea Temple, the main objective is to destroy the Ancient Guardians. They expose the player to the effect of Digging Fatigue III, making it nearly impossible to break blocks. The Ancient Guardians are located in the middle and wings of the temple. The Ancient Guardians have high health and damage, but are too large to move drastically, so using melee weapons is a good choice. The bow is limited by the charging time, and the spray potion is not efficient. A good strategy is to hide behind blocks when the Ancient Guardians want to shoot rays. The average Guardian is also at risk, although with the right equipment they are much less dangerous. Once the Ancient Guardians are destroyed, you are free to harvest the sea crystals, sea lanterns, wet sponges, and gold nuggets in the temple. You can also build a Guardian Trap in the temple to get supplies of sea crystals and fish.
- Hint: If you want to complete progress", why is this happening? "It is recommended to keep the Ancient Guardian for the next time you get the Digging Fatigue effect, when exploring, bring at least 4 Milk Bucket], and you must leave only one Ancient Guardian, as the Ancient Guardian tries to curse the player every minute.
New technology links the world as never before. Our planet has shrunk. It’s now a “global village” where countries are only seconds away by fax or phone or satellite link. And, of course, our ability to benefit from this high-tech communications equipment is greatly enhanced by foreign language skills. Deeply involved with this new technology is a breed of modern business people who have a growing respect for the economic value of doing business abroad. In modern markets, success overseas often helps support domestic business efforts. Overseas assignments are becoming increasingly important to advancement within executive ranks. The executive stationed in another country no longer need fear being “out of sight and out of mind.” He or she canbe sure that the overseas effort is central to the company’s plan for success, and that promotions often follow or accompany an assignment abroad. If an employee can succeed in a difficult assignment overseas, superiors will have greater confidence in his or her ability to cope back in the United States where cross-cultural considerations and foreign language issues are becoming more and more prevalent . Thanks to a variety of relatively inexpensive communications devices with business applications, even small businesses in the United States are able to get into international markets. English is still the international language of business. But there is an ever-growing need for people who can speak another language. A second language isn’t generally required to get a job in business, but having language skills gives a candidate the edge when other qualifications appear to be equal. The employee posted abroad who speaks the country’s principal language has an opportunity to fast-forwardcertain negotiations, and cam have the cultural insight to know when it is better to move more slowly. Theemployee at the home office who can communicate well with foreign clients over the telephone or by fax machine is an obvious asset to the firm.
If you're starting to brew potions, an easy way to enter the Undersea Temple and destroy the Guardians is to sail close to the Temple, then drink a bottle of Scuba Potion (for breathing underwater), a Night Vision Potion (for easy observation), a Swiftness Potion (to increase the speed of movement underwater), and a Stealth Potion (to prevent the Guardian from hitting you). You'll have to take off all your gear to make the invisibility potion work better. Bring all the extra potions. You should be able to walk straight into the temple and use a piercing] V's trident to destroy all three Ancient Guardians without any attacks from them at all. Once they are dead, drink a bucket of milk to eliminate digging fatigue and harvest the gold nugget in the center of the temple, then use a pickaxe enchanted with Precision Collection to harvest Sea Crystal Lantern.
If you have workbench and furnace (or materials that can synthesize them, i.e. [planks]] or [cobblestone]), then they will come in handy. Undersea temples tend to have rooms filled with [wet sponges], where they are collected and dried in a furnace (or placed directly in the [Nether]]), which you can then quickly use to clean up the water in a room and build a safe house that won't suffocate you. This facilitates long-term exploration of underwater temples.
If you want to preserve the original appearance of the underwater temple and swim here from time to time, then you can build a Tidal Core structure in the more spacious rooms of the underwater temple. This will give you a Tidal Energy state within the temple area. After that, you can breathe freely in the temple and keep your view bright at all times.
If you want to truly conquer the underwater temple and maximize its utility, then you can build a Guardian Trap to get tons of materials and food.
in Bedrock Edition shield cannot withstand the Defender's laser; in Java Edition shields can protect against some laser damage, but when besieged by Guardian], the damage of one shield defense may be too small for the player.
How to properly utilize doors
There are many Guardians in the Undersea Temple who shoot rays and cause damage to the player.
But once the light is blocked by the block, then it disappears. So you can hide from the light by hiding behind door – hitting enemies behind the door while the light emitted by the defender is accumulating, and hiding behind the door before it causes damage to you.
in Java Edition You can place a door on the left and right of the front and back, create a "room" and hide in it to restore oxygen and health. This may seem unfair to the Guardians – but you're the protagonist of the game right now!
If you die in the temple
Dying in an undersea temple can be a catastrophic event in survival mode, as if the rules of the game keepInventory are not set to true}, the player will lose everything (which is an endgame at this moment), and even if you can get there before the dropped item disappears (5 minutes), it will be very difficult to get back all your belongings.
Therefore, a good way to do this is to bring a bed and reset your respawn point. That way, if you die, you don't need to spend a lot of effort to find the underwater temple where you died. It is best to open , while playing the gameF3Debug screen], so that if you die, you can write down the coordinates and try to swim there.
When entering the temple, bring a chest, as well as spare swords, equipment, and potions. After you empty the area and get some sleep, you can put your spare equipment in this box. After you die, you can use this spare set of equipment to reach your death point without being killed by guards on the way, or drowning.
