This is where the best styles can be found, from castles to roads!

We would like to see some work from other people on this page! Here is what you can put on to help: Road styles, Floor Styles, Wall Styles, ect.

(there are some block grid errors...If those could be fixed. Thank you!)

Roads/art

NetherBrick Road: This is a pretty little path style just look at the key.

Nbrickroad

continue this pattern until you think your road is long enough.

Obsidian Floor: Obsidian is pretty and all...but it make the buildings look all gloomy, this is how to fix that:

This pattern will balance the dark obsidian with bright glowstone.

Fountain Idea: Just a fountain is kinda boring, so you can improve it be making a beacon part of it, just put water on top of your beacon!

Redstone ore road It's not cheap or easy to get, but if you have a silktouch pickaxe or a large amount of redstone ore, use it to make a road that lights up wherever you walk, or place redstone torches underneath to make it always be lit. Place stone bricks on the sides for decoration

Redstoneroad

This is a good use of redstone ore, which has no use except decoration. However, on multiplayer servers, if you are invisible from a potion and walking on this road, the light from the ore will give away your location to other players.

Wool Carpet

If you have a stone brick castle that seems dreary, and you don't know what can spice it up, them you need a wool carpet Just replace the drab stone or the plain wood flooring with any lively shade of wool! You could just put carpet in one room such as the bedrooms, or just the King's Chamber. Maybe you could put colorful designs in your carpet, such as a black wool Creeper Face in your red w carpeted ballroom. Maybe your whole castle could have carpet, with different colors denoting different areas. And remember, carpet isn't just for castles. It can spice up any home! Just don't have any fireplaces nearby. Wool is very flammable. Here are some carpet design ideas:

A simple way to light your house.

An onimuous creeper face to decorate your floors.

Construction Tips

Ceiling: This is a way to use couches and chairs that are made of stairs. Simply replace your ceiling blocks with slabs of the same texture, this will allow for a 2.5 blocks high ceiling, enough to use furniture but not enough for Endermen to enter your home.

Sophisticated: Try adding more angles to your walls, or even just changing the shape of your floor. Doing so makes your house more unique and above average! Change it up a bit! Who says your house has to be square because minecraft is based on squares!

Houses

Tudor Style House: Pick out a 6x6 area, and mark each corner with spruce logs. Fill in the walls with snow or white wool. use spruce wood stairs to make the roof. Now add the essential furnishings and voila, a small yet beautiful Tudor style house.

Comfy Home Build a large house, preferably in a tundra biome. Make the house mainly out of oak planks. Make sure that the hallways are narrow and compact. If you have the time and resources, add a brick fireplace (Be absolutely sure that the wooden planks are not close enough to catch on fire!) add note blocks, bookshelves, paintings, tables, chairs, and other furnishings. This type of construction is best built when you have completed the majority of the more advanced neccassaties of minecraft (ex. Obtaining more than 8 diamonds.) Use this home as a getaway from your regular home. Spend your vacation in your library writing the memoirs of your adventures.

Wooden Panel Home Dig a 5x5 hole in the ground that is one block deep. Fill the hole with the wood planks of your choice (You might want to pick a type of wood you can get easily, as you'll be needing a lot of it). On each corner of the wood plank square, create a pillar of wood logs facing upwards (Use the same type of wood that you used before. e.g. If you used Birch Wood Planks, use Birch Logs). Make the pillar at least four blocks high. Then connect all the pillars at the top with the same log type, facing sideways. You now have the frame of your house!! Fill in the empty spaces with glass and wood planks in whatever design you prefer. Add a door and glowstone for lighting. Repeat this 4 more times, adding one more room on each side, and making your house in the shape of a "+". You now have a comfy, five-roomed wood panel house!! Fill the rooms with anything you want, and add a second floor if you please. Note: Due to the need for much glass, glowstone, and many, many, wood logs and planks, this is not a good house to make until you have amassed a good amount of resources
