The Void
Reason: 1.15 adds vertical biome support. Is this now used internally for areas outside the world as with void_air?
The Void is an empty biome that generates only a single feature: a 33×33 stone platform centered on a block of cobblestone at coordinates 8, 3, 8. No mobs (passive or hostile) apart from phantoms can spawn without spawn eggs, spawners or commands. In The Void superflat preset, since the world is made up of one layer of air, only the platform generates. Below the platform, there is just void. This biome can be useful if a redstone contraptions world without interference from the surroundings is desired. It can also be useful if the player needs to build completely custom terrain and wants to start from scratch. If generated using buffet, since the only feature generated is the platform, the terrain looks as if the game has not reached the point where it generates biomes, so it is completely made of stone.
