I don't see the point in having this, all we need to have to block someone is their username; a single link to the user also suffices. All these links are rather clutter, especially for section titles. Dhranios (talk) (Join the wiki videos project!) 15:57, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

I intend this template to be used as bullet points in a dedicated section titled "Block requests" rather than as section headings. Also, I could comment out most of the admin-only links until a CSS class that is only visible to admins is implemented. Fadyblok240 (talk) 16:21, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
I agree. The linked user contributions page already has the other links (and they can be added to Template:User and only shown with parameters if needed). Also as I mentioned on Discord, I don't think "nuke" or "block user" should be shown, since admins would probably want to look through the user's contributions before taking action. –Sonicwave talk 05:37, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
