This template marks that a page or section has a consensus to split it into other pages, but it has not begun or is in the process to split.

For suggesting splitting a page, use {{split}} instead. Pages with this template are added to the Category:Current split.

Usage

{{splitting|section=Optional section usage|reason=''Optional reason''|""Article""|""Article 2..."|""...Article 10""|timestamp=Optional timestamp}}

Up to 10 article names can be specified, though for section usage it is recommended to use only one. Optionally, the parameter {{{section=1}}} can be set for section usage.

To mark pages, use: {{splitting|Page A}}

For section uses, use: {{splitting|section=1|Page A}}
