This template is used to redirect the user to another page, while giving them the option of whether to actually follow the redirect. Its main usage is to redirect the user to a page from another wiki or a technical reason prevents a hard redirect. For redirecting a category, use {{Category redirect}} instead.

Usage

To use this template, simply add the page to redirect to as the first unnamed parameter. The page may be on the wiki, an interwiki, or a web url. The second parameter can be set to display a title for the redirect. It defaults to the first parameter.

Pages using this template are added to Category:Soft redirects.
