This template marks that an article needs to be rewritten. The reasons must be that the article has incorrect information, doesn't follow the style guide and has the information over the page without it being understandable. To mark pages that are cluttered but have correct information, use {{cleanup}} instead.

Usage

{{rewrite|1|2|3|nocat=Optional category remover|section=Optional section}}
  • The 1 parameter adds a reason note.
  • The 2 parameter adds whn the template was tagged on. It should be always a date.
  • The 3 parameter changes the category the template will set to the article. The default one is Category:Articles needing rewrite.
  • The section parameter changes the template to a section mode.
  • The nocat parameter prevents the template to add the article to a category.

    • {{merging}} for indicate that the merging process has begun. It is recomended to use it on large merging processes.
