The template pertains to articles by default; to make it about a specific section instead, type {{rewrite|section=yes}}. A specific reason for the rewrite request can be added as a variable, i.e. {{rewrite|of poor grammar}} (or {{rewrite|of poor grammar|section=yes}} for a section-specific request reason).
The date that the template is added should also be included as a second variable, i.e. {{rewrite|of poor grammar|May 6, 2014}}, or {{rewrite||May 6, 2014}} if no specific issues are listed (and {{rewrite|of poor grammar|May 6, 2014|section=yes}} or {{rewrite||May 6, 2014|section=yes}} for section-specific requests). The third parameter sets the category where the page will be put to (default Cleanup). There is possible to set no category, using the "nocat" parameter. With all variables included (including section), the template will read "It has been requested that this section be rewritten because of poor grammar (tagged on May 6, 2014)."
