This template should be used on redirect pages to classify redirects under particular categories, such as, for example, Category:Redirects from other capitalizations.

Usage

  • From a singular to a plural term.

  • From an alternative capitalization of the target page's title. Usually these redirects are made solely to help with linking, as the first letter of each word is not case sensitive when searching.

{{R|achievement|subtopic}} or {{R|advancement|subtopic}}

produces
This page is a redirect: 
  • From the name of an advancement or an achievement.
  • To a section of the target page. In most cases, the titles of these redirects are subtopics.

plural From a plural to a singular term. Possibly not necessary, discuss. Category:Redirects from plurals
singular From a singular to a plural term. Possibly not necessary, discuss. Category:Redirects to plurals
capitalization or case From an alternate capitalization of the target page's title. Usually these redirects are made solely to help with linking, as the first letter of each word is not case sensitive when searching. Category:Redirects from other capitalizations
alternate or alternate name From an alternate name of the feature described in the target page. Category:Alternate name redirects
subtopic From a subtopic of the target page. Many times, these types of redirect will link to a specific section of the target page. Category:Subtopic redirects
historical From a historical name present in older versions of the game to the current name of the feature described in the target page. Category:Redirects from historical names
version From a short term alternate name of the version described in the target page, without stating the edition the version is in. Category:Redirects from short version names
diacritics From the page with the same name without diacritical marks (accents, umlauts, etc.) to the target page with diacritics. Category:Redirects without diacritical marks
advancement or achievement From the name of an advancement or an achievement. Category:Achievement and advancement redirects
Other reasons not listed in /reasons (The reason the editor inputted) Category:Miscellaneous redirects
