This template is used to mark pages or sections that are undergoing large reconstruction. This alerts other editors to leave small issues be as they will be fixed by the user carrying out the major edits; this in turn prevents edit conflicts.
If the page isn't edited on many hours, it would be better to remove or replace this template with {{wip}} (or {{stub}} if the article looks finished and it's short).
Usage
The template has several main parameters:
sectionis used to specify whether or not you are editing a section.descriptionis used to give an optional description or reason for the major editing session.timeis used to set the time when you added the template.
The page is automatically added to Category:Pages actively undergoing a major edit unless the nocat parameter is set.
Example
Below is an example of the usage of some of the parameters. They are not required and can be removed. However, it is suggested that you include a time in order for other editors to understand the tag.
{{In use|section|description=Adding 1.13 information|time=March 2013}}
Produces:
Remove this notice if this page hasn't been edited in several hours, or replace it with
{{wip}} or {{stub}}.Description: section
