Oppose It's somewhat confusing, but "Village.dat" and "villages.dat" are different files with different purposes. The former stores the information about the generation of the structures in generated villages. The latter stores the information about the doors, player reputation, and such for any village (naturally generated or constructed). Were these two pages to be merged, you'd likely wind up putting the entire contents of this page as a separate section on the other as their structures have nothing in common.
