Separate page for stained glass panes?[]

Do we want to include stained glass panes in this page (requiring an additional block template such as with flowers (panes have a DV of 160 I think)) or do we need to make a new page? Cultist O (talk) 21:24, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

I am going to go ahead and redirect stained glass panes to here for now, but someone should remember to redirect every colour of pane to Stained Glass Panes if the topics are split in the future. Cultist O (talk) 16:24, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Can someone please upload the sprites under the correct names?[]

They currently exist as "Red Tinted Glass.png" etc (though no panes as far as I can tell.) Cultist O (talk) 21:24, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, the image in the block template is still not working though. Cultist O (talk) 15:58, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Chunk Errors[]

Is it worth noting here that stained glass lines the top of the void whenever the terrain generator fails to generate a chunk? I'm not sure that counts as naturally spawning stained glass though, because it's obviously a bug. Firebastard (talk) 10:09, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

I've never seen it happen personally, you probability created a new world using the name of an old super flat world made of stained glass, see mcbug:315. KnightMiner (t·c) 15:36, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Never had a superflat made out of stained glass. Never felt there was a reason to. The name was used recently by a world with the same seed and terrain generation options. Firebastard (talk) 01:15, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

Merge[]

I propose merging this article with glass. Worked with hardened clay and stained clay so it should work with this. agree per i forgot what this is called (yay me) Boorider7 (talk) 13:10, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

They are the same block, just dyed. –LauraFi - talk 13:59, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

 Agree --Mine4017 (talk) 14:16, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
Support, same as in the hardened clay discussion. --GreenStone (talk) 14:18, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
Agree, per GreenStone. KnightMiner t/c 16:49, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
Disagree, they are completely separate blocks, though they often function the same.99.54.91.112 22:28, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
Disagree, Separate block names, block ID's, and different crafting recipes. Surely that's the use of {{See also}}. User:Cblair91 09:27, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
Agree because it is exactly the same as hardened clay vs stained clay.. I mean exactly... even both hardened clay and glass are made from smelting something that can be found near water (beaches) and can be colored.. how about we also merge glass panes and stained glass panes?
