Proof that Sculk Catalysts can indeed extend far beyond their range[]
So I've discovered, thanks to the bubbling charge, the sculk can extend much farther beyond the regular catalyst range. Whenever the circular range for how close a mob must be is exceeded, the sculk stll needs somewhere to go so the bubbling charge extends past the default range. > Yes. Also, it seems to be completely random. It will randomly leave the 8-block range, even before actually filling the 8-block range with skulk. Furthermore, skulk blocks that are connected to the "network" can feed mod/player deaths to the catalyst from beyond the 8-block range. I am currently working on documenting all of this.
