I think this page should be deleted, given the information here, bunnies don't have any role in minecraft and aren't planned to, it was just a little example by notch. So what's the point of having an article on the wiki? Shockman25 20:35, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Though this page isn't necessary at the moment, it's worth keeping up in case they are actually added. Plus it just gives a little information to the unsure person. --Foutsboys4 (talk) 20:00, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
- Shockman25's comment is 3 years out of date; Bunnies are pretty much an upcoming feature at this point. Although... What DID the article have in it 3 years ago, now I'm curious. – Sealbudsman (Aaron) (talk) – 20:38, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
- The article was deleted back in 2011, and recreated on may 28, 2014, by me, as a result of the new info by Ryan Holtz. -- TheWombatGuru t | c NL Admin 20:40, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
- Oh sure, I was just wondering what possible info was on there to begin with, back then. – Sealbudsman (Aaron) (talk) – 20:49, 5 June 2014 (UTC)

Rename Bunny article to Rabbit
I suggest moving this article to Rabbit and turn Bunny into a redirect link, in light of new information from Ryan Holtz.[3] Neutral0814 (talk) 17:47, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
- I Agree, since it's related items have the name "Rabbit", not "Bunny".MamiZaCraft (talk) 19:17, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
- I moved the page. If anyone disapproves please discuss before reverting the page. Neutral0814 (talk) 19:12, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
The Killer ("Bunny") Rabbit of Caerbannog in all its Hostility!
I wonder a couple things, if it should get its own page (see: Zombie Villagers vs. Villagers), and just How it attacks. Obviously, the one in MP & t HG Flew up (like a MC Spider) and once-attached, was impossible to get off (unless I forgot, and they saved 1 of the many of the "guy"s - knights - but it took out about 4, I thought, if not the entire "cavalry") , until I think it killed each victim.
Red eyes, check. White fur, check. Hops around, looks like a bunny, check. I wonder whether its attack is any different, from that hopping around, as the KRoC is not-described, just-Yet, distinctively in how it does what it un-does. (And I'd like to see added which Biome[s] they appear in) Yilante 216.7.78.195 01:55, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
What's its attack power? I was trying to spawn one forever to test it, but I failed. 164.126.127.108 20:14, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
- It's already listed it in the infobox. Might be worth to include it in the relevant section though. —Fenhl 20:24, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, Rabbits are (so far, and at least) in Plains, and Savannas, which I added, to the main page. Also that they are slow to move (I'll take a wild leap here that the Killer Rabbit /KRoC Also, is equally-slow), with I'm -Guessing, no major Leaps of aggression (not even a Rabbit-covering screen, image?). –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.7.78.195 (talk) at 11:04, 7 July 2014 (UTC). Oh right, speaking of such, the Hostile Mob, probably can't have a Lead, attached to it, for a "pet" (Untameable) Killer Rabbit? Unlike a Dog, say, which is still kinda-Neutral, even when Tame, if another attacks someone. -Yilante 216.7.78.195 15:04, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
This Hostile Bunny can have a name, i recently change a spawned in Rabbit of Caerbannog to Dinnerbone, which changed his name and made him upside down like it's supposed too! Also when he's really closed to you he jumps up two blocks instead of one it appears, he won't do it if fences are in the way though...- Katgirl129 68.10.121.210 20:03, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks! now-re -named as of SnapShot 14w34a "The Killer Bunny" [..Rabbit of Caerbannog], with a pre-Spawning, Name Tag already helping-label it. If the excessively blood-shot eyes areas, mouth dripping, and paws -streaming it don't show its "true colors (which run)."
- I'd guess it could get re -Tagged, with another Name, too. As for the Jumping.. this is why I make all walls at least 3-high, and never know whether I should trust Fences (my guess is it's either getting hung-up, like Chickens in one-side Fences, or else tKBRoC /KB is "confused" by its non-Solid Block, status, but I dunno, thanks again). ~ Y 50.1.134.76 05:24, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
Spawn Biomes?
Does anyone know the complete list of biomes rabbits spawn in? I'd like to add it to the info box on the right hand side. Edit: Nevermind, I see it in the trivia section.
Rabbit image
The image for the rabbit in the infobox has just been photoshopped out of the game, so it won't look like the animals in other infoboxes. There should be a model for it. --Istolethepies (talk) 01:23, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
- For the most part, those models are rendered in blender. Most of the people who are experienced in blender are likely either:
- Waiting to see if the model will change again before they attempt to render it
- Dreading the task
- Working on it at this moment
- Have not decided that they will do this yet
- For now, you will have to deal with a photoshopped version unless you want to make a better one yourself. --KnightMiner (t|c) 01:35, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
- Done. The 1.8 mob images are currently indeed rendered in Blender, but using models extracted from the OpenGL calls that Minecraft sends to the graphics drivers, which is still easier than re-creating them by hand. I'll update the 1.8 renderings after release and add all color and baby variants, too. --BarracudaATA (talk) 06:59, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
How to tame a rabbit?
I don't know how to tame a rabbit so please reply how to. 119.112.238.171 00:20, 24 August 2014 (UTC)Jojo
- Taming rabbits was removed in 14w34a. Now you just feed them to breed them, like cows, sheep, pigs, or chickens. Anomie x (talk) 01:04, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- Rabbits are no longer able to be tamed as of 14w34a. --BDJP007301 (t|c) BDJP007301 02:56, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
Passive breeding or baby spawns?
Do bunnies breed passively or spawn as baby bunnies? Because I have a world here with both a bunny and a baby bunny.
- As with Wolves and Ocelots, baby versions sometimes spawn naturally, but it's far less rare with rabbits. Someone should note this in the wiki, as well as the fact that breeding rabbits can spawn multiple baby rabbits(once confirmed). Raduloket (talk) 10:03, 05 September 2014 (UTC)
2 Rare Variants?
The article mentions two rare variants of rabbit skin, but I've only ever seen the normal six. Can anyone confirm that rare rabbit skins exist, or should that sentence be deleted? There is Toast, Killer bunny, and Dinnerbone. Killer bunny is a 1 in 1000 chance spawn and has slit horizontal eyes. Toast is a special dutch bunny skin that any bunny can be if given the nametag 'Toast'. Dinnerbone is the same way but the bunny is upside-down.
- It says in the article. One rare skin, you get by giving it a certain name, and the other rare skin has only a 1:100 chance of spawning. – Sealbudsman (Aaron)

Taming Rabbits?!
I saw on the minecraft wikia taming rabbits. I don't understand! I tried it and it hasn't worked for me... This wiki doesn't say nothing about it. Is there or is not taming rabbits? Because that would be preposterous to have another tame mob.
- Read three sections up from this question, someone else asked that same question. – Sealbudsman (Aaron)
T, C, b 16:16, 11 September 2014 (UTC) - BTW, this article does mention it, in the history section: "Rabbits can no longer be tamed". Anomie x (talk) 20:39, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
Fur color breeding true?
I'm just wondering if the type of rabbit breeds true or not. Not much of an issue as their fur color seems to have no real purpose most of the time, but I'd rather not have 1% of my rabbit farm be the Killer Bunny. (Consider the effect of leaving an automated (or semi-automated battery farm running for a while and coming back to find dozens of Killer Bunnies.)Rashkavar (talk) 06:00, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
