I do not have any real documentation of this, but there's a very interesting version-exclusive bug on this version. Basically, if a mob is not already in water, it has a chance of being locked into effectively a hit-stun if hooked with a fishing rod. This is very amusing with Chickens, as their slow fall makes them take flight.
