Nether brick is renewable[]
Why is it renewable?Well, You can get obsidian from blacksmith villagers, and if there is any gravel, dig the gravel, and if there's iron in the blacksmith chest, then use it to make flint and steel. If there's a pick in the blacksmith chest, take it. If not, take some wood from the village and make a wood pick. Mine some netherrack, then return. Use some wood from a villager's house to cook the netherrack. And that's how it is renewable. Now i would like the "Renewable" to stay as "Yes".Mega9man 22:28, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

- Renewable implies it comes from a replenishable source, e.g. infinitely-spawning mobs, breedable animals, or plants that yield seeds as drops. Common materials such as Dirt, Stone, and Netherrack, although common, are not considered renewable as the block itself is lost/not replaced when mined or used in crafting. (also, though Minecraft maps are expansive, they are far from infinite and will eventually cease to generate). Cobalt32 22:48, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
- Stone is renewable. Water and lava. (However, we seem to be getting off topic.) HotdogPi ⑬㊲ 19:36, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

Question about Nether Bricks (item and block)[]
I own the Xbox 360 version of MC, and Netherrack can be smelted, but I can't find the area on the crafting menu (there is not crafting crid on the Xbox edition) I can only find normal and stone brick. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but if Nether bricks can be made, what is their use if I can't make Nether bricks? --108.206.173.162 06:26, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
