Can we mark it as renewable now?[]

As of snapshot 21w10a, the moss blocks now generate in the officially added lush caves biome. Although they are not yet generating in default worlds, they do generate in single biome worlds, which I believe is as official as default. Can we change it already, or should we wait until lush caves biome generate in default? Windwend (talk) 21:22, 10 March 2021 (UTC)

Since Lava Bucket does not say Renewable: Yes‌[upcoming: JE 1.17], it should  Not be changed until lush caves are fully implemented into snapshots.Humiebeetalk contribs 23:07, 10 March 2021 (UTC)

Hoes are the best tool for moss[]

Only axes and hoes insta-mine moss, and only stone ones and better. Picks and swords don't insta-mine moss. You need haste X and Efficiency V on a netherite pickaxe to mine moss instantly. Since hoes are cheaper to craft and have the same durability as axes, this makes them the better tool to mine moss with.

Only marginally. Crafting a stone axe just requires one additional cobblestone, which is basically free, so the cost differential is negligible. The article already says a hoe and axe are most efficient. Amatulic (talk) 20:10, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

Convert sand blocks[]

It does not seem to convert sand or gravel blocks in 1.17. 176.10.200.193 17:12, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Renewability of dirt through moss - Bedrock Edition[]

When Azaleas are grown into trees on moss blocks the block underneath the tree becomes rooted dirt. As the wiki indicates that Java only has access to the moss->podzol(large spruces)->dirt route of making renewable dirt, this offers a way for Bedrock to get there with moss->rooted dirt->dirt. A bit beside the point, but this ensures (somewhat) easy, renewable access to dirt in Skyblocks/maps with restricted materials (as long as you can get moss off a trader).
