Unprofessional

Are you serious? This wiki is so unprofessional. :\

[Tank]Yes it is, but we all love it anyways
I agree. It brings shame to the other articles. If it were up to me, I'd delete this and replace it with some real information. Noroom 09:58, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

Yes, because lest we forget, some people are more serious about Wiki than anything else, even Minecraft. HaphazardJoy 03:42, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Its about Notch, He is the Chuck Norris of the Nerds, it shouldnt be true, EVER. --Who Is This Notch I Hear Of 17:23, 25 October 2010 (CDT)

Pronounciation

How do you pronounce his last name? Is it like the English word "Person" or something more like "Pierce-son?" Or something completely different?

I would say it like Per Son --Haxelnut 06:28, 27 August 2010 (PDT)

It's a bit like the English word "person", but imagine a British accent. You know how final r's are dropped? Implement this on the first syllable. The e, however, sounds like the e in "bed", rather than the usual sound you get in that way. As for the second syllable, it's like an sh sound but the tongue is curled up a bit, like a stereotypical Russian/Hindi accent, or a sound you may hear a bit in Swedish if you're familiar with it. The o is like the sound you get for o's in English, but it's not a diphthong. Imagine saying "oh" but cut short halfway through the syllable. I know, lengthy description, but I'm very knowledgeable in linguistics and that's the best I can do without throwing IPA up. xD If you still didn't get it, check out this audio clip I found on Google. - JWhitt 07:29, 5 September 2010 (CDT)
As I wrote in the page itself, it's "pair-son" or "pear-son", as described by Notch himself. Citation inline in the page. --meioziz 16:47, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Valve Time

Totally not ripping the "Valve Time" joke from here. --Vegeta897 11:10, 18 September 2010 (CDT) .

that IS the joke.--Kizzycocoa 11:17, 18 September 2010 (CDT)

Shrines?

Does building a large solid gold statue of him bring good luck to my server...? Lava flowing out of one hand, water out of another...

Stacking

The line that Notch isn't stackable, unless with ez... isn't that a bit suggestive? – Unsigned comment added by Jaeil (talkcontribs). Sign comments with ~~~~

I think that's the point. User:Ultradude25/sig at 04:23, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
I personally dislike that comment on their myself.--Kizzycocoa 02:20, 12 November 2010 (CST)

Time formats

Someone needs to decide on one time format here - some are DD/MM/YYYY and some others are MM/DD/YYYY. Doesn't matter which one, but it needs to be consistent. Perhaps we should use the "November 17, 2010" format so it's absolutely clear to everyone. --meioziz 12:13, 17 November 2010 (CST) We should NEVER use the DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY version as unless the day is higher than 12, you have no idea which is which. I've always been changing things to 17th of November 2010 as that looks the nicest. User:Ultradude25/sig at 15:48, 17 November 2010 (CST)

Joke?

This article should consist of real information and needs to be rewritten as this is an encyclopedia, while the "joke" parts are moved to another namespace. --Fifteen (talk | contribs) 09:24, 19 November 2010 (CST)
