Should be named "Trunk"

This should be called "trunk"; trees are the structures built of trunk and leaves made by the map. See tree SteGriff 10:38, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

I disambiguated and tidied up. SteGriff 10:53, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Needs a better image, but I don't know how to make them, so...

Trivia

I just tried the fireplace trick and my log burned up. I have my log completely surrounded by rock other than one face and lit one block in front of it on fire and my log was consumed. --Youassassin 12:47, 3 December 2010 (CST)

Sometimes (at least for me) logs/wood will burn up no matter what. You just need to place a new one and try again. It can take a few tries. Jax-Kenobi 15:45, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

I think it should be pointed out that counting the rings on real trees tells you its age in years. in minecraft, doing this won't work. --Rahmspinat 13:41, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Unstakable

Trunks seems unstackable in a brief "WTF" moment in a smp server. -it is not different trunks. Upgrade?

Wooden Planks

"In Survival mode, wood blocks drop 3 - 5 Wooden Planks when mined."

I'm pretty sure it's gives exactly 4 wooden planks and you don't get them by mining, you get them by crafting :O

The guy that wrote that said about Survival test, an early version of Minecraft. Calinou - talk × contribs » 10:26, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Different Types of Wood

Is there any difference between the three types of wood? – Unsigned comment added by Bubbs3 (talkcontribs). Sign comments with ~~~~

Nope. They all craft the same Wooden Planks. The only difference is aesthetic. Verhalthur (talk)(contribs) 21:00, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
