No longer upcoming
Features have already been release. Should I move the info to version history? Tulaash 22:36, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
lanterns
At minecon notch said that due to negative feedback he is no longer happy with the idea of lanterns, though there may be some new light emitting blocks in the future, there was a video on IGN, but it's moved, if I find it again I will link to it, but I think it would be safe to at least put a note in the lantern section that it's unlikely. For that matter, shouldn't Lanterns be removed entirely?
Eventual Features, etc.
The things in the Eventual Features section have been mentioned or considered, but many of them aren't likely to be added, or have no concrete proof that they will be added for certain. I propose that we either change the name of the section, or separate it into two sections depending on likelihood of a particular thing being added. --Pizza2004 02:32, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- I would suggest anything that doesn't have a citation and anything that they have said they are considering, but didn't say for certain should be moved into a 'Possible Features, etc.' section, so that it is easier to see what we know is coming at some later point and what we may possibly get. --Pizza2004 02:37, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
This Talk Page
The talk page is filled with old or junk topics, which makes it a mess and needlessly long. I propose that someone goes through to see which topics still have relevance and clean up the others. --Pizza2004 02:41, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- I'll archive some of the posts. --Saphireking65 18:47, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
Zipline
Notch said he would like to add parts of the Zipline mod into Minecraft. Even though he said parts, he must be adding rope. He MUST be. You can't have any zipline-related stuff without rope. Anyone agree? --ChasmicActivity 21:28, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
- While this is true, the information that we have suits what is said just fine for now. --Fishrock123 (Talk)(c) 21:57, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Easier Server Setup
Swedish tweets between jeb_ and krojbxilef:
K: @jeb_ Kommer ni på Mojang att fixa till servrar så att de blir lättare att starta en egen, jag och många andra tycker att det är för svårt.
J: @krojbxilef Japp, det är planen för 2012
Trans: "Is Mojang going to fix servers so that it's easier to start an own one, me and many others think it's too difficult.
Yeah, that's the plan for 2012."
So, easier server setup for 2012!

- What is hard about setting up a server? You just need to doubleclick the file!? Please clarify ~Anonymous – Unsigned comment added by 80.109.22.34 (talk). Sign comments with ~~~~
- It is indeed NOT easy to setup a server. You not only have to start the server program, but also port forward, as well as make sure your server can support others. And don't get me started on fixing issues that arise. --Saphireking65 18:46, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
C418
C418 has mentioned making music specifically for creative mode in his blog. Should this be included? Link: http://c418.org/blog/post/48 He also included more details in the comments.
Next Version Release Section
With the release of two pre-releases that clearly show upcoming features, can someone who knows the wiki formatting stuff better than I do renable that section (apparently it is hidden) and add the contents that appear here and here for Version 1.0.1? --Sandman 06:34, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
1.5?
Someone reverted the page to 1.5 for some reason, so I undid this so it is now back to 1.1.0. --Mini Munch 17th December 2011 16:40
