I think there should be a section of this article that talks about the nether. I just used commands in creative mode to teleport to the west boundary of the world, and I saw the diagonally striped wall that I've seen on servers. I went to the nether. There was no boundary wall in the nether, so I went further west by a hundred or so blocks and built a new portal. When I went through the second portal, I was a few hundred blocks north of my original portal despite not travelling north while in the nether.

I also want to know if the nether world boundary is also at +/- 20,999,984, or if it is closer to the origin due to distances being different in the nether than in the overworld. --71.10.178.164 19:52, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Few hundred blocks shouldn't be a problem.--skylord_wars (talk) 04:41, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

Move to Java Edition distance effects

This page has had some undiscussed moves recently so I'll start a discussion here. Should this page (and the bedrock one) be moved from "distance effects in <edition> Edition" to <edition> Edition distance effects"? I would  Support this as it's consistent with the naming of other edition-specific content on the wiki.  Nixinova T  C   23:56, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Weak support don't think it's super neccessary but i'm not fully opposed. - User-12316399 (talk) 12:16, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
