Release date[]

This page says May 21 while mcversions.net says May 30; also _03 says May 21 while the page says May 22. Just a bit of inconsistency. – Nixinova 20:26, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

Also, the json file says for 0.13a:

"releaseTime": "2009-05-30T22:00:00+00:00"

and for 0.13a_03:

"releaseTime": "2009-05-21T22:00:00+00:00"

So I'm pretty sure mcversions.net is correct here but I'm also confused. – Nixinova 21:29, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

The .json file for this ver says May 30 (So imma go with that) but then that means _03 was over a week prior? Someone help. – Nixinova 21:14, 28 April 2018 (UTC)

The existence of this video implies a release date of before May 30, so 21 seems right. - MinecraftPhotos4U (talk) 07:28, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
The launcher also lists _03 before 0.13a in the old versions, and that combined with the UTC timestamps on both pages... I mean, should we switch the order? Aepokk (talk) 04:01, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Based on the information on 0.0.13a_03, it is clear that the launcher version is the only version of 0.0.13a to have actually been released. The files in the jar actually date to the 21st. Gavinmdavis (talk) 02:57, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

Sapling texture[]

terrain.png files from May 20 2009 (such as the ones in pre-classic versions) seem to indicate that the sapling texture was changed on May 20th, not the 22nd. Thus, the sapling texture was most likely changed for 0.0.12a. 69.127.96.14 19:36, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

This is now disproven by this revision comment from Tolerabledruid6. --Vistabuntu (talk) 20:30, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

I found some screenshots[]

I think I found c0.0.13a[]

I found it in the launcher

C0.0.13

Nope, I didn't read the rest of the site

A version mislabelled as "0.0.13a" is available in the launcher. However, it has many differences from the version called 0.0.13a in 2009, which appeared to support regular terrain, whereas the launcher version strictly uses flat terrain.
