Remove emoticon from page name
Move to Java Edition Beta 1.8 Pre-release 2. It's difficult to link to this page as most things just ignore all irregular characters in URLs. – Nixinova

- Support We don't necessarily need to keep page titles as "accurate as they can possibly be" as long as we make it clear what the official title is, imo. No one calls this "Beta 1.8 Pre-release 2 ;)", it's just its technical name; Pre-release 2 is what it is most commonly called by far. While I'm not meaning to use a Wikipedia policy as an excuse for my views, WP:COMMONNAME does have some useful information that would be relevant here. As others have pointed out, it is difficult to link to the page with the wink. - In my opinion WP:COMMONNAME should be (more) applicable on this wiki (
rose redgrumbles) but in this case it's definitely true; PE titles have the alpha before the version even though in-game it doesn't because everyone calls it "alpha 0.6.0" and it makes more sense. – Nixinova
