Are images fake? Why download is missing?

If have an image, the version must be available for download! But if there is no download available, the image has the possibility of being tampered with. Pronounce users who sent the first images of this article, please! JonasNeo (talk) 17:26, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

How can the images be fake if they were posted at the time the update was released? - User-12316399 (talk) 17:50, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

Even if it is on the day, do you think that nobody will be surprised by not having a download? JonasNeo (talk) 17:56, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

Because there is no way to prove it, the image was uploaded to the wiki in 2018. This version is from 2010! JonasNeo (talk) 18:11, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

How does the existence of images from that era mean that there must be a download? People don't distribute jar files with every screenshot they take, so I have no idea where you're coming from. - User-12316399 (talk) 18:16, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

If this happens in most articles on the wiki, why couldn't this happen? JonasNeo (talk) 18:21, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

It's not like we have a ship-ton of Classic versions that are lost yet still have images, heck, even video, yet you've not even mentioned them... Get your logic sorted, please. Also, yes, you could take and upload images in 2010 (wow, what a shocker!). Just because we have screenshots of it does not mean we have it. It's been lost for nearly a decade, which if anyone lost nearly all of their brain cells over the last whatever amount of time, is ten years. --31.127.40.32 18:36, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

Ah, so why did you say that the photos were sent on the day of the release and was uploaded to the wiki in 2018? Wow! we found that it doesn't make sense to have an image but not to have a version, it's like me saying that Herobrine exists without any evidence. JonasNeo (talk) 18:50, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

The images were uploaded in 2018 because before that there were no pages about the versions here. I can confirm that the images are real. They were just REUPLOADED to the wiki in 2018. DEJVOSS (talk), 18:5, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

Okay, so the discussion is over. That's all I wanted to know, thanks for listening. I'm sorry for anything. I just found it very strange! JonasNeo (talk) 18:55, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

I have the old version in my old computer. I remember that because I have a screenshot of it that I later saved in my newer computer before my old computer was broken.

If you actually have Alpha 1.1.1 saved on your computer, and not Alpha 1.1.0 or 1.1.2, then that's actually a big deal. See if you can upload it somewhere. AlienAgent124 (talk) 01:43, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

I have got copy of Alpha 1.1.1 version

Recently I have got a copy of Minecraft Alpha 1.1.1, which is actually the real version. This was checked by the calm4.ogg track (I'm too lazy to cut the video, so I'll throw off the full video and yes, it lags a little). Many of the team did not believe that this was the real version, but still, it turned out to be the opposite.
